Umm, if people didn't read the whole post by Alcohol, there is a link somewhere in there to a demo of Kever made by drunk, if you still feel like she hacks, check it out. It is just experience with the map, knowing where people hide, knowing how long it takes to rush, etc. | ||

Guys, I don't know why you wanna kick kever. She or he is always respectful and is just a really skilled, quick player. There ARE people like that. Not only that, but think of the idiots that aren't banned from the server sometimes who are acting like complete morons, and then you wanna ban a quiet player who is just good. It just doesn't make sense to me:P She or he can be killed, so its just a bigger challenge, which will improve your playing! |

Ive always liked Kever, even when I thought she was a dude, and when I started talking to her she was even cooler. I completely respect admin decision to ban her, cant say I agree with it at all, but I respect it. She is a really hard player who is just really good, and it was a tought call and I can even say "How the fuck did she know my head was there, I wasnt even fucking making a sound!!", but my only thing is. She has been demoed and specced and decided over MANY times before this. It seems to just bring it up again is a spite thing or as alchohol said "a release of personal aggervation", with the game, or whatever. and to make it even better, like Rollins just said, SHE WILL MAKE YOUR GAMEPLAY BETTER. Jigg even said it, "thanks for giving me strats and shit and improving my game play" Personally, just from watching kever and how she plays, I have gotten SOO much better, and playing against her has even made me better. I dont think she hacks, she is just a prodigy at CS. A lucky GIRL who can just pwn the boys. I respect whatever decision is made, and I will not say "YES" or "NO", because I think its up to the highest of admins, or for the admin who did it (tru) to take it back or not. Not for just a bunch of regulars to say "SHE DOESNT FUCKING HAXXORS n00bs!!!" |

This isn't a vote to decide whether to have her banned. That thread was made awhile back and it tore everyone apart. There was no reason for it. She is awesome. Yes, Kever is a she. Talk to her on the outside over xfire or steam and you'll see for yourself. She is really cool. And she always has and will continue to make us better players because she is a prodigy in regards to her gameplay. It's not her fault that she is just good. She can be killed in game so everyone needs to stop bitching and man up. |

I think that people didn't read your whole post as it was basically a novel. What was provided within the post was a link to download a demo of Kever. I think that this should be cleared up before it becomes general convo rather than kever, as the title of the thread has Kever in it. The demo is there, the proof is in, she is clean. No proof otherwise, let's leave it at that until there is further proof. I will stay out of the rest of this as it is for FT admins to discuss. | ||

Maybe my input here is unnecessary, maybe a few people will appreciate it. Nevertheless, I find it appropriate, as an FTC admin who was at one point very suspicious of Kever. Back when Kever first started playing FTC (I'd be hard pressed to remember exactly when), I would spec her and just find some of her shots impossible. At one point, in the midst of my anger at how ridiculously accurate she was, and the complaints among everyone else in the server, I did in fact ban her. When I continued to see her on FTC, I realized that giving her a one hour ban every time I saw her would be useless and stupid (I only did do it once). So I tried to get a demo of her. I tried and tried and tried to find something that could prove that she was hacking. I couldn't. And believe me, I know hacking when I see it (I'm sure most of you know why). Kever has now become a fellow regular and a friend. I have played with her enough to know that she is very legitimate, and a very good person to play with. Contrary to popular belief, she is also not impossible to beat. I've done it (very rarely, but I've done it). Let's think for a sec about the normal hacker one would meet on a server. If anyone has come into contact with one, and has any understanding of human psychology, you would know a few things: 1. Hackers are not friendly. Of the ones I have seen, they are either completely silent, or they are "clowns". I have not met a single hacker that I've on several occasions spoken to outside of game about normal everyday things. 2. Hackers do not become regulars. It gets boring. One of the main reasons hackers do what they do is to piss people off. As soon as you become well-known on a server, you piss fewer and fewer people off. They move around to different places, getting their massive scores until they're permabanned. 3. Hackers hack. All hackers that I have met are people that hack. They cheat using 3rd party scripts and programs that give them an unfair advantage over other players. It's pretty difficult to be a hacker if you don't hack. Anyone else notice that? All of those generalities being said... I'd like you all to check out this list. Well would you look at that... it's me! For three or four days I assumed the traits of a hacker described above, went around to different servers, pissing people off. I did it for a few reasons, one being experience. I went with a friend and we'd spectate each other to see how it looked at a third person view. It was obvious, if you knew what to look for. I've done it, I've seen it, I know how it would feel to Kever if she was a hacker, and I know the process she'd be going through in her cheating. If someone gets a demo that they think might demonstrate some of Kever's "suspicious activity," send it to me. I'd be happy to let you know how wrong you are. As Alex has explicitly stated, Kever is a regular. She is a member of this community, and in all honesty she should be a member of this clan. I don't ban Omega because he kicks my ass around the office, so there's no reason anyone should be banning Kever. Excuse my incoherency, it's just how my brain works. |

The saddest thing above all this, is how hurt Kever is. Its not the fact that she has been finally explained as clean, and hack-free, or that the admins were wrong or WHATEVER. I talked to Kever over Steam, and she is just so broken up over this. Yeah, she might be a girl, and that could add to her being upset, but if I was in her position, of being so good at something that I had everyone on my ass bitching at me, telling me im something im not, banning me, picking on me, etc, it would break me down as a man too. I feel so bad for her, because she said that she doesnt even want to go into the server PERIOD, because she doesnt want any bullshit. just think of it, its like being a senior, and playing soccer with 2nd graders. its hard, and not even fun to play at a lower level. So its not like she can just mask her skill so she doesnt get kicked or banned. She plays at one skill level, and she cant change that for people who dislike her. I even told her change your name next time you come in, and she said she doesnt even want to do that, because they will still target her skill, not her Call sign. She deserves an enormous apology, if it ever reaches her or not. And even if you dont apologize, just talk to the girl. She is a downright sweet heart, and she doesnt deserve this. |
