I dont have the best of computer or connection to make a demo, nor much know how. Could someone please provide a complete walk through of the process. Start in the game and end with it being on the forum please. Thanks. | ||

To start a demo: Join the server. Bring the console down by pressing "`". Type "record name.dem". use name as whatever you need for quick reference (if I make a demo of myself i will do "record jesus1.dem" without the quotations, of course) You cannot start a demo during a smoke grenade, so at the very start of the round during buy timer would be best. Everything that you see on your screen is what is being recorded. Free look, locked cam, etc. When you have enough of the demo, bring down the console again and type "stop" It will tell you that the demo has stopped, and what frame it was/how long the demo ran for. To play it type "playdemo jesus1.dem" It saves into your cstrike folder. Uploading it to the site I am not sure of so somebody else has to fill you in. |

Actually you don't need to type the '.dem' cuz it gets added automatically. Console, type 'record name', then it starts.

Oh, sorry bubble. lol... you cant start mid smoke I think because of how it blooms maybe, and some hackers can see through smoke etc. but i am not positive. |
