yea jesus, i speak from time to time, with a good english for a french dude I'd say  yea and about swrd, dude! its over, stop that shit! alex and swrd have talked this over already... if you are not happy with him talking to friends and having fun while playing, then mute him! thats it

the server was not only 22/24, but mostly full for about an hour. I had to wait in line for 30 MINUTES last night. when I finally got in I joked and said I didnt have to do that for a while, and goose replied "not in the past few days anyways " so yeah. could have been due to this SWRD server, but im definitely thinking people with finals. And after reviewing the Depression thread, I definitely think it was just a mix of all things that limited everyone's play time... And as for Vincent Vega knifing, he fucking pwned me like 10 times in a row. cant say I didnt get him and others back, but man oh man.. he was positive and ONLY using a knife, and duelies when he had to, lol. good times good times |

It's not the talking on mic that pisses me off, it's the extra useless chatter like "How was your weekend?" Type it, or say it when you're dead. Don't speak at the beginning of the round. If you speak in French to Shld, nobody understands you. I understand a bit, but I don't want to listen to a foreign language on the mic when I do a solo rush. I need to hear footsteps otherwise I get clobbered. Then since I am dying early and waiting 2 mins for the round to end I get frustrated waiting. I could have made a different thread to direct that quote to Swrd elsewhere, but why since we have one right here? |

Wow, finally the calm after the storm. Just like Alex i promised myself i would keep this short but you know me guys, i'm a fucking windbag  I didin't really have time to post here in the last few days (on accout that the one time i did had time to psot i was restricted to) because i was busy looking for maps for my new server (no, the server won't remain 24/7 office either, and it was never meant to be, more on that later) Ok, the first thing first. Things i should be apologizing for. On the first, or maybe the second night of Fish bowl i'm not sure anymore, people on my server and i started to parody fishtank with mock-up names of admins, like myself posing as [FB] Weed Powered for example. I admit that this was very stupid and things went kinda out of control, the joke went a bit too far as i didin't want to insult persons in particular in the making of Fish Bowl, but more the philosophy of the server. I apologize to all of you a insulted with that mock up. The other thing i'm gonna be apologizing for is for server advertising. When i came on ft and gave my ip i sent that message to my friends but now that i read it back, i can see how it looks like plain bullshit advertising, sorry about this too. Now, on how, and most importantly WHY was the Fish Bowl created... Just like the next guy, i got my regular dose of shit to deal with on a daily basis. I lost a couple of important people to me amongst other things. In such situations, we all need to find this little distraction that makes us forget for a moment. For me, it was FTC. I met the coolest people there, people who made me laugh, people who made me think and also made me feel better. i've been playing CS for four months, and almost all i played was FTC, i always had fun here people where cracking me up all the time everybody was having a good time. Then all of a sudden, in the last 3 weeks i was on ft, people started getting banned without having time to debate what happened or anything and stuff like that from time to time. Then about a week ago i think, i was playing on FTC and talking to my friends. Yes i know, i talk AAALOT, i know some people don't like that, but i'd rather have them mute me then telling me to "SHUT THE FUCK UP BITCH". Or even so ask me like "dude could you talk a little less please i'm trying to concentrate/hear footsteps". Wich people acctually did sometimes, and i would shut up then. That day i was talking alot as i was saying and an admin who i didin't know was Alex back then told me in a very rude manner to stop talking on the mic. I argued with him telling him to player mute me instead, to wich he then replied others were complainging as well. So yes, being told to shut up in that way made me reply in a rude way, and not really consider others complaints. After staying on the server for two minutes being muted and hearing my friends getting bashed into the ground for asking alex t o unmute me, i just left, hearing this last bit before i went "i can't play mute him cause people talk to him so i'll end up muting half of my team"... that's when i realised i just lost my place of distraction, cause i wouldn't feel as welcome ever anymore. Me and Zadkiel had been talking about making a server for about a month from then and i just saw this whole thing as the perfect opportunity I wanted to re-create fishtank the way it was the first 3 months i spent on it. hence the *no bullshit admins* in the title, as i was still mad about this whole thing (not being muted by alex but the whole stressed out atmosphere of FT i've been feeling for the last 3 weeks). In making fish bowl, i made very few rules, i turned on alltalk very often and stuff like that, many people liked it and i even hear a few say "this server is what fish tank felt like a while ago". So my mission was accomplished, i didin't want people to hate fish tank, i wanted fish tank people to go back to their original state in wich i met them, relaxed and fun to play with. As Alex said we talked things through and we agreed on most everything, he still thinks the server was a bitch slap for him muting me but i assure you it was not, the admins names parody or the no bullshit admins title were, for that, i apologized and do again. I'll be hanging at FTC again, it is my favorite server after all, and i do hope to see you guys on the short bus from time to time. All of you take care of yourselves and remember to have fun, it's our life saver -EDIT- I would like to remind everyone just to make sure this is all clear that it was my idea and mine only to make Fish Bowl Classic. Zadkiel who is co-owner of the server, and all other admins didin't ask or suggest this. Thank you

the mic and commands like "team fall back" are used for tactics with your teammates in game. CHAT, I repeat CHAT, is used to small talk with friends. I find that ALL chatter over mic is unacceptable. but im a hypocrite , because I also do it from time to time when im hyper. but when im aggravated, it fucking burns me up. Didnt necessarily have to be directed at Shld, or Swrd in general but I see your point.

Swrd, I will not mute you as a player unless it gets too excessive. The reason why: If it is us two left vs a bunch, you will communicate to me. I can't quickly unmute you for the twenty seconds. I do not want to mute people in case they need to something important. If you can keep it to a minimum then in a 2v5 will be easier. Understand what I am trying to say with the client-side mute? | ||

SWRD, that was a well written post and very mature way of dealing with this. I respect you for that. I AM VERY MAD AT YOU THOUGH FOR not making a parody of my name...lol. Anywayz, i hope we all play nice now, and we all kill eachother in peace. | ||
