Hey dudes! Ok, now i dont know if this was already brought up once as an open proposal, but i intend to do so anywayz. As you all have probably noticed since you've known me, i love to fuck around and have fun. I like to add as much excitement to the game as possible. I always vote yes on ANYTHING that adds something else to FTC, or for every other server for that matter. SURF i voted yes on nipper maps. And shit like that. Bank mods on FTC, even though we didnt get it, or yes on the awsome FT official picture. Now, one thing i loved since the old CS 1.6 and DoD original, was the DOMINATING!!!! After you kill three guys in a row, or KILLING SPREE when u kill 5. GODLIKE! will never happen of course in source unless you play against easy BOTS. The old quake sounds really added something nice to the game. Now i know the original reason why we didnt have this already was because we didnt want to have ppl join the game and wait forever to download shit as they come in. I could be mistaken though. I was wondering if it was possible to modify that feature. So you would only have to download a few to limit download time, and get it to scream something up to 10 or 15 kills or so... Since no one can get that high in a row cept Kever..lol Alex, its your server. If you dont want this in your server then feel free to close this thread. If you are ok with it, then let the vote begin! I vote yes! P.S. If this should be in Schooling Fish so even outside FT'ers can vote or something like that then move it plz lol. Or leave it obviously if they can vote in here... P.S.S Lets not forget that you only have to download this shit once... And since majority of the time only FT'ers and Regs play on FTC, they wouldnt care much of downloading it once... i could be wrong though! |

i think the real reason why we don't have quake sounds is because its A) Pretty annoying  Not really considered 18+ gaming...at least i thinkC) It's still...pretty annoying i thought that was the reasons why we don't have them. i hate quake sounds >.< but the 'owned' when you get knifed is still cool. actually you could set it off for everyone as default. and they could set quake sounds on/off in 'settings'. that could work? |

canoob has a point i forgot to bring up. They should be turned on or off. And bring the Owned back when u get knifed or Multi kill when u double nade and shit. But DEFNITELY make them on/off when u want. | ||

Personally I like to hear the occasional M-M-M-Monsterkill while I'm playing, and yes they can be set on or off. And most people have them already since they are popular sounds (if hey don't theyll have to dl them at some point, cause they are everywhere). I would like to put them on surf, but idk how the other ops feel about this. I'll talk it over with them. | ||

Same here, I love having the Quake sounds, in which they are called that, to pump me up after I've got so many kills. I think my record for most kills in a row on FTC is 14 straight with no deaths, and I think that's along the line of Ultrakill or Godlike, so that's pretty good for me. And the one day Kever went 42-0, I couldn't even imagine what the Quake sounds would have been doing, probably masturbating sounds or something. But yeah, it pumps me up in game and I would like to have them in there to make the game more interesting. When I'm pumped up, I play better. | ||
