Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Fish Tank Classic. I joined this server around September and I can say that I've never experienced the 'classic' times. But I can infer that the 'classic' times were just fun as hell. FTC wasn't meant for competitive playing, sure people do good, and people do bad. But I mean there are nights when people are arguing over how they play. And other nights, my favorite nights, when Wildcard, Fetus, and some other people sign on and we have a hell of a time. They make the server FUN, there is constant LAUGHTER when they're on. And everyone has a great time. With that said, FTC being a noncompetitive server where we are supposed to have fun, I think we should think of some ideas to spice up the server. I love to have fun and laugh my ass off and then find it again later, and I'm sure you guys do too. There has obviously been a drastic increase of stupid, useless, and unnecessary drama going on lately, and lets stop it. Now here's my first idea, I think that we should expand the TK punishments out of the range of forgive, slap, and slay. I was playing on surf the other day (z0mgg) and I had a helluva time when people were cracking up through the mics when they were blinded, drugged and other stuff. Lets make this server a great place to be. I'm just sharing my opinion and I would like this to happen, but I'm not sure if topics like this should be considered a vote or should I talk to Alex. But I just wanted to plant this idea into your heads. I'll leave this as it is for now. Edited Thu Jun 07 2007, 08:31PM |

wrote ... TK punishments i like them remaining just that. consequences. and if we make too many, fun, goofy, or hilarious alterations to the server it will jeopardize the other rules and values that FTC is known so well for upholding. i.e. team balance. but this does not mean that creative ideas should be shunned. we are open to them still. |

I disagree. Those nights with Wild and Fetus and Mayer and everyone else are just childish. Team flashing, throwing smokes; I mean, come on. Grow up. Children. *COUGH!* ..What? |

uhh wtf? dont you know rule number 1? NO HAVING FUN! This is serious guys, ever single last one of you terrorists HAS to sit ONTOP of the hosties and makes sure they arnt rescued, while EVERY single CT MUST rush blindly into Proj room and try at all costs to rescue them. Doesnt matter if you are blind, or have no gun, or its 1v12, whip out that knife and just run in there, while typing kill in the console. Then we can all get along.

MOVED from [FT] Open Proposals to here... I'll quote what Fetus said the last time Canoob made an invalid proposal. -[link]- aborted fetus wrote ... Not a valid vote. MOVED to FTC forums for discussion. This has nothing to do with the FT clan, and cannot not be voted on. Server OPs reserve the right to choose how they run their servers. But, you can discuss here. Anyways... Canoe wrote ... There has obviously been a drastic increase of stupid, useless, and unnecessary drama going on lately, and lets stop it. Yup there has been some 'drama' lately. I think that given the failed attempt to voteban an admin, you are well aware of this fact. Lets take a step back and look at the 'drama' situation objectively... There are over 35,750 posts in 2,715 threads on the forum. Only a very very small percentage of those include 'drama'. Most posts are jokes, fun, productive, etc... A few 'incidents' that produced widespread discussion revolved around Swrd's SB server, Mikey B's Nom and more recently, Eric's thread. Keep in mind that all 3 situations that included drama stemmed from non-[FT]'s causing shit on our forums. That shouldn't reflect on members of the community. A lot of people seem to drop one liners like, "oh the drama" and that really doesn't do much. In a public forum where people are allowed to express their opinion, sure there will be different viewpoints on topics. Its human nature not to agree or get along with everyone. Most of the times its pretty jokes, but whatever. Likewise, can people even remember past issues and does it even matter a few days down the line? Just get over it. Most issues are talked about (at length) and most likely resolved. Sometimes the parties agree to disagree. Saying 'Drama FTL' or whatever doesn't put the person saying it on any higher plateau, but hey. Canoe wrote ... If someone TKs you accidentally and doesn't appologize, perhaps the 90hp slap would be useful. If someone TKs you on purpose or throws a bad nade without acknowledging it,,, one might be inclined to slay. There are many forgiving people on FTC so that's why the Forgive option is there. The only problem I have with burn/freeze/blind/drug etc... is that someone might be more inclined to retaliate because of the type of punishment selected. Is this what the thread is about? |

"The only problem I have with burn/freeze/blind/drug etc... is that someone might be more inclined to retaliate because of the type of punishment selected. Is this what the thread is about?" - Goose I completely agree goose, whenever I'm surfing and get TK'd, I almost always freeze, or forgive. I freeze for every TK that looks purposeful, or somewhat idiotic when the player either doesn't respond, or I think they'd get a kick out of being frozen (i.e. Diffy). I personally am more inclined to punish someone with those type of punishments, because they still have a chance of living, and like canoe said, its funny at times. Now, as for FTC, the only time that I slay/slap is when its gravely intentional, stupid, or if I'm doing amazing and then get team killed. Most of the time, I forgive though, due to Nightrider's teachings . I don't think we should add the options in, solely on what I quoted above. |

I like having a laugh, but i've always viewed the server as intense when it comes to gameplay. That's why I love it so much.
