I was playing tonight and I noticed a new problem with smoke nade spamming. We got a good amount of Terrorist all using their smokes in the same area. It is the same thing as a individual smoke spam where there are 3, 4 or more smokes all in the same area but it is preformed by many people. I think this should also be included in our rules of nade spamming. If you consider it already part of the rules I guess it needs to be more specific because i got arguments that group nade spam is not nade spam. |

That is not nade spamming. It is every individual buying one smoke which they are aloud and throwing it in one area and it was the same exact area. | ||

This is the same thing but with more then one person throwing it in the exsact same place. It is still a spam of nades and the effect is the exact same if 1 person dose it or a lot of people do it. I don't see how it make a difference the amount of people. | ||

i agree with Drunk, also by performing this Terrorists didnt gain an advantage. So what if there was alot of smoke nades. it doesnt make the smoke any thicker really | ||

I agree with Drunk here too, thats not considered spamming. Its just like when those assholes make pyramids in the back hall and then nade the shit outta me when i rush. As long as they don't rebuy the nades I don't see it as a problem....no matter how annoying it is >_< | ||

i noticed a few players running back to t spawn repeatedly and buying more smoke grenades earlier today. i told them not to do it and they complied. if i see it happening, ill warn and punish. | ||

While it may be annoying, it would be impossible to enforce. Think about it: Player A: Throws his/her smoke grenade in paper. Player B: Throws his/her smoke grenade in paper. Player C: Throws his/her smoke grenade in paper and gets slapped/slayed/kicked/banned?! This is impossible to enforce. How would the rule read? "Only one player may consecutively throw his/her smoke grenade within the same five foot radius within 60 seconds of the first said smoke grenade. Any player beyond the second, who tosses a smoke grenade within a five foot radius less than 60 seconds, is subject to punishment." While it can be annoying at times, 1) from my experience, it seems that smoke spam only benefits the opposing team, and 2) I can assure you that it will be completely impossible to enforce. Furthermore, it is a legitimate (legal) strategy. Like the infamous "Back-Hall nades" (*enter the Count's accent from Sesame Street*), multiple smoke nades in the same location is a legal strategy. when multiple ppl do it it is Tactical and requires communication and teamwork that [potentially] leads to the team winning. there should not be a rule, not to mention a way of enforcement. however individual smoke stacking is prohibited. |
