I made a few changes to the admin rosters of both FTC and FTC2. I pruned some MIA admins from FTC, or admins that only show up for a few hours per month, and added a new one: AwsedreswA. AwsedreswA is #3 for time this year on FTC (and we all know Goose's #1 is BS because he sits spec for several hours at night), and he's an awesome teammate on T's. He's a friend of Narf as far as I know and that's good character reference... or something.  For those dudes that got removed as admins from FTC... it's nothing personal. I'm just trying to keep the list clean and representative of those people that actually play. Yes, there are a few exceptions for people who don't play much but they're there for a good reason. I'll let Mugen make a post about the FTC2 admin changes. He's got FTC2 under control and I'm fine with any admin changes he requests. |

Big up to Awe-said-rez-wha... spellin it phonetically helps other people read it properly. His name isn't Andrew, FYI. But yeah, he's a cooool cat and I think he'll make a great addition to the admin squad. With that being said.... I think its time to defend my #1 spot in total time played. To date, I have 422 hrs played. #2 is held be O'Mega at 290 hrs played... a difference of 132 hours. At MOST, I'm willing to concede 25% of my total time to spectating. That's roughly 105 hours, subtracted from 132 puts me at 27 hours more than O'Mega, and still in first! (To be fair, I think I spectate more like 20% of the time, but don't forget that the vast majority of my time is spent playing, not spectating.) Sure, I got other games like NBA Live 2006, BF2, AA, the 'Half-Life' gambit of DoD and stuff, a PS2 and games,,,, but they're all ass. I found something that I like, and I don't care to see what else is out there. 99% of my solo gaming is dedicated to CS:S, and I've loved video games ever since I got a NES, back in the day. Also, I'll hop into spec while eating dinner or watching a Raptors/Jays/Leafs game. But I have a TV in my room and my comp is within a 5ft radius of it so when I'm watching my beloved Raptors stink up the joint, I'm still able to clearly see whats poppin in FTC. And sure, if during commercials I see a spawn camper, I'll drop a "Dont Spwan Camp" or hook a team up with some cash or whatever,,,, so I'm not completely useless. Now that the Raptors/Leafs' seasons are over, I won't spend much time in spec. And if the server isn't quite full, and I'm not taking up a legit spot, then there really isn't a problem,,, right? And OK sure, I'll most likely spec every night around 11pm for about 20 mins so I can walk my dog, or I'll spec so I can grab a smoke/piss/drink, but its better than those admins who only show up once a month. (Might as well complete the hijack at this point ) Notice that I've also got 4900 scout kills out of my total 10,040 kills. Close to 50% of my kills are via a gun that sucks in close range, and is pretty difficult to get kills with. Granted, I usually buy it 90% of the time, but that just shows that I don't necessarily get a kill with it every round, and raking in multiple scout kills is a tough feat. With that, I'm still ranked #6 in total kills. I can gaurantee that if I used AK/M4 like other people, I'd be in #1 fa sho. Not to brag or anything. And, I've only won 6 week awards for most online time, and 2 month awards for the same. Thats not even that much. I'm not too big on sleep, so usually I'll play late night or spent most of a Sunday, wildly hung-over, on FTC. I hope I've managed to convince you guys that the spectating is not an issue and I'm totally content with being booted if the server is full, and I'm taking up a spot.Praise Jah. GooSe Out. |

Thanks for the admin honor guys. Bubble goose, as i have seen, is kinda like Darknarf in respect that they may be in spectate, but they have like a 9.2% chance of admining from spectate. Which is freaking great, especially considering the amount of multi-tasking that Darknarf does. As for the commentary by Bubble Goose, I agree, he scouts a lot and is good at it. !!HERE IS YOUR COOKIE!! !!SMILE BITCH!!  I have wanted to be able to beacon/bitch at ct campers for a long time. Now I dont have to say votebeacon, I can have an actual vote to beacon.  See yall around the Tank.  |

Goose, you lose, ive seen you spec for DAYS, I come on in the afternoon, and theres Goose, in spec, i come back late at night, and...THERES GOOSE. I think you just turn your comp on, join FTC or FTC2 and go to work, or school, or cut down trees like a lumberjack, or what ever you do. Oh, and as to your post.... Too long/Didnt Read : ) |
