For the most part the admins take care of the afks but the script might be useful if an admin is not present (If that is possible). Good suggestion though. | ||

Personally I don't see much point, It's very easy to votekick afks when there isn't an admin on and it's rare to find the server without an admin when it's full anyway. But the anti camp mod sounds like it would be cool that would also take care of afks people (not specs) maybe after 20 seconds of staying in one spot you lose 10 hp.... then every other second you lose another 10?..... If you can do that anyway. Also something that you could think about changing or editing is the motd, to find out about the "no camping" rule you have to click on the "punishments" section and even then it's says no spawn camping with no plan of doing your objective, I know that most people know the rule and stick by it or break it loosely but I'm thinking about when there are no admins on and someone is camping so the votekick starts then that starts a shit storm of abuse. The easiest way is to either put on the first page of the motd about no ct camping longer than necessary or w/e so then everyone should know the rule and hasn't got any excuse, but that's getting a little off topic so well. |

Actually, this wont work, since T's are supposed to camp. I dont wanna be slayed for scouting and not moving in long. Or lose hp for sitting there sniping. Unless it could be applied to CT's only. | ||

We tried the Mani AFK->spec->kick features before and they didn't seem to work that well. I'll look around for something but there is a very specific set of criteria I would want to use before specs are kicked. | ||

I mean you're right, 80% of the time with a full server there is an admin, but its not the rarest thing in the world to have no admins on, especially early in the evening when most of our admins are getting off of work and home. The problem with votekick, is its tough to get people to votekick a spectator. You'll get the few regulars to do it, but unless someone is causing HARM or hacking, people just won't votekick them. Who knows. Well, just a suggestion, something to look into! |
