I am making this thread in reference to some behavior I have witnessed in the past few days. Ok, there has been a female playing on the server by the name of Sunshine. Wow! Holy shit. Can you believe it! A female! Can we please all get over the novelty of a female playing on the server?! Please. I have seen/heard more written/verbal harassment in the past few days than I have seen in months. Believe me, I am not trying to be some chivalrous knight. Rather, I am warning all that I will punish sexist remarks the same as racist remarks. I don’t care if I see “Nigger”, “Jew” or repeated “A/S/L”. Players, you must get over the fact that a female may play on our servers. Please, stop asking “Do you have a boyfriend” and, my personally favorite “Do you use a dildo?” Just a heads up, I will treat all sexist/harassing/racist remarks the same...swiftly. I will mute, punish, slay and ban. Wow, a female plays CS:S! Just know: get over it, or prepare to reap the whirlwind, gentlemen. |

yea listen to Fetus sunshine is a great person and CS player and if I don’t recall CS is a free playing game, that means white, black gay, bi, boy, girl, man, woman are all welcomed to FTC and FTC2 so like Fetus said if there’s sexist or racist talk I will tell Fetus and I will give him your steam id.... so there will be punishment, so Please we like the people who play on FTC  don’t make us ban you or punish you because you have to be an asshole, cause someone is playing that you don’t like! Wow, Kali, pull your tongue out of Fetus' ass, and pull it out of mine as well (it's been up there since you "returned" to FTC). I didn't realize you knew SuNsHiNe that well... "great person?" She is a newer regular on FTC and the more emphasis you put on her being there, or anyone else, only makes your statement ring more hollow. Yes, I understand that it makes the mic chatter a bit more sexually-charged (aside from when Goose and Fetus are whispering sweet nothings to eachother) when there is a female on a server, but I imagine she (and 98% of other female CS:S players) got over most of that within the first 30 minutes she started playing (or any other game that attracts fucking nerds like most of us). She has probably figured out guys will say some sleazy shit, and from what I gather, she knows how to handle it. That's not to say anyone can say anything to anyone. Repeated and intentionally annoying behavior (say/teamsay/voice spam, harassing other players, etc.) will result in punishment. That's the third rule under "Player Rules" of the FTC MOTD. That covers EVERYONE, including females, so let's not differentiate by gender. So yeah... don't harass ANY rule-abiding players and everything will be Jim-Fucking-Dandy. LoL, Wu always manages to crack me up with those GIFs! Also, its nice to see that this thread was started at 4:18am, and has gotten so many responses. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who neglects sufficient sleep. With that being said, allow me to point out the obvious... Q: How do you know she's a girl??? A: Cuz she uses her mic and she sounds like a girl. Q: How do u know that there aren't others of her gender playing? A: Because they don't use a mic and announce that they have titties. Hence, there could be many more females that play, but nobody knows. By that logic, its pretty much safe to assume that Wu could very well be a chick.  See where this is going? She purposly uses her MIC for reasons other than callin strats or saying where an enemy is, for the sole purpose of getting attention. (Remember that for the longest time, Zemaj played under the alias of "Jessica" and had a realistic looking chick, shooting a gun as HIS spray?@@?!)Something that I have long admired about the FT community of servers is the freedom of expression and the fact that there is no chat filter. Sometimes you will see me drop a "8===D ~ ~ ~ ( . Y . )" to signify 'jizz on titties'. I'll drop this regardless of who is on, and regardless of if I think a 'chick' is playing or not. However, I can see that it becomes problematic when things are directed at someone because of their gender/race/religious beliefs, etc. But I do not feel any remourse because I know that 99.9% of the persons in my direct company are indeed males, and its just guy stuff. Should I alter my actions because a girl decides to play??? If it offends her, then YES, otherwise,,,, "Smile Bitch"! Keep in mind that any chick who decides to get attention on an online game is probably fat/ugly/too young, so she's probably just trying to make herself feel better, so I suppose that its best not to ask her how much she weighs. (A question such as 'how much do u weigh' would not be harassing or demeaning if its only asked once and with honest intentions, its just rude,,,, right?) Sorry if I'm making light of the situation, but punishing an obnoxious player is understood as a responsability that admins must enforce in order to maintain a pleasent environment. From my point of view, it appears as though she craves the attention, or else why would she continue to come back? She undoubtedly surfs the servers looking for a reaction. The equivalent would be for a dude to join in on a all-girl slumber party, sure there will be some guy trashing from the all girl group, but needless to say, the sole male would definitly be the center of attention. The same thing applies here. She is fully aware of what she is getting herself into because it is clear that its not her first time playing the game, and if she was completely serious about her score, then she would refrain from using her mic. Let me emphasize that I agree that harassing a person is not, nor should be tolerated. I also think that getting a new regular, regardless of sex/age/race etc is beneficial. I also think that you can't have your cake and eat it too. If she requests and welcomes a reasonable amout of attention that is not detremental, then the more power to her. But I think that someone should tell her that CS:S playing dudes carry STD's so she should watch out.  Jah Bless dem Titties. ( . Y . )

Now Bubble, I'm in an argumentative mood, and I haven't slept in over 24 hours, so I'm going to try to figure out what you're saying. Sunnshine uses the mic for things other than strategy/gameplay. So do I, so does Graffiti, Kalibur, and the rest of us mic-happy punks. That's not because we want attention...it's because we're talking. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you being prejudiced in saying that because she's a girl, speaking off-topic on the mic, she's asking for attention? Now I don't know specifically what you were referring to, but let's even say she's talking about her "girl stuff". I can't begin to count the conversations about penises I've heard on voice chat. She's not asking for attention just because she's talking like that on the mic. Maybe she'd rather just be herself than try to avoid attention? You can't just assume that there's some underlying cause for her off-topic voice chat. Fact is, she's allowed to talk just like we do. We talk about cocks, she can talk about tits. Her being the only chick that we know of doesn't mean that she has to try to avoid attention. If everyone can't be mature about it, that's their fault, not hers. And you said "She undoubtedly surfs the servers looking for a reaction."? How is that undoubtable? What proof do you have that she's doing this? You can't speak in absolutes based on assumption. Your whole argument against her is under the assumption that she is actually craving attention. Now she may or may not be, but it's unfair to assume(that word again) that she is. Remember, don't assume, it makes an "ass" of "u" and "me". Heheheh. Get it? Ass-u-me. Lolz. And for anyone that's going to jump to conclusions....I love Bubble. I just like to debate too.
