BTW something to add. If a player is friends with this person then most likely any "sexual harrasment" probably isnt bothering the person because there friends. I know personally i sexual harass not just the girls im friends with but also the guys im friends with in CSS on a daily basis. But then again im also immature. But u gotta think if a person is just joking b4 u take action, now if this person doesnt know the other person than thats one thing. P.S. Kd and Rusty i wanna have your babies <3 Call me! LOL wow im a loser

This should not be seen as anyone being a "mother hen" for any particular player. It's a matter of what happens when people stop playing CS:S and start spamming. |

I know, I was Pwn't, but in my defence,,,, I was speaking in a very narrow and focussed way with regards to 'Sunshine' and my personal interactions with her. I was not being general and I was not trying to blanket every possible instance and situation... I was just speaking from my personal experience with the female in question, at that time. I think that my actions were fuelled by her reactions, as well as from the assumptions that I might have made about her, while playing with her. In a more general sense, sure, sexism is equally as problematic as racism,,,, but at the time it was almost as if I got the impression that she was the one controlling the situation and it was in fact the attention that she craved. If I was wrong, then by all means flame me,,, BUT the last time I checked, nobody on the FT community was given psychic abilities via the RCON commands to magically tap into a given person's headset and read the said person's mind..... That needs like lvl 12 admin  EDIT: Alex's above post was not there when I typed this post,,, so to let me add: Its a good point to speak of guests because people who visit the server should be treated the same as we treat guests that come into our homes for dinner. But again, from where I was sitting at the table, she was like one of those yappy guests that only wants to talk about herself. So at the time, I thought I was being hospitable,,, in a very awakward sense.( I suppose) But if my comments were unbecomming of a FT and admin, then that was not my intention at all. I thank you Alex for the attitude re-adjustment and I hope that at the very least, someone can see the situation through my perspective and not flame on me for being a dude with a penis. But I do try to make all players on FTC feel welcomed and I do so by 1. Giving regulars abbreviated nick-names IE: 'Stoney = Stones', '3 Stripe Ninja = Stripes', 'SilentScope = Scopes' and so on.. 2. I always enter the server with a greeting and respiond to those who say HI 3. I always Type those who type me, in a very quick and hospitable fashion,,, IE 'Yo Goose'.... 'Sup man (with about a 2 second delay after the dude typed me) So to be fair, if the community views my actions as being out of line in any way, then all I can do is appologize,,, just keep in mind that my intentions were strictly from my point of view, and if my character is to blame, then maybe examples 1,2,3 above could attest to my decency and overall gooooodness. (For the record, during the night in question,, I was pretty smeeshed, pissered, hamboed, crunkzored,,,, if that helps any. I wasn't at 100% and definitly wasn't using 100% of my brain, BUT, even in my less than perfect state, I can honestly type here today and say that without a doubt, she wanted the attention and I don't think anyone can possibly convince me otherwise ubless they have lvl 12 and they were on that night to read her mind... i just think she should be treated as we treat everyone else. all the comments i made were comments i could easly make to someone of the same sex and get a few laughs. and i was kinda disgruntled when i was approached by an admin (whose name will not be mentioned) and said that that comment was inappropriate. i do think we should be careful as to what we say in terms of sexist comments, but it should NOT limit any of our usual toilet humor that we had before she came. that's just my humble opinion. |

I agree mostly with Alcohol on the topic here, but Goose made some points about some female wanting attention. I have only played once with sunshine and I saw a regular CSS player there, trying to play the game and enjoying herself. Now If I would never heard her I or visite the forum I wouldn't have known its a female. Now case 2: Pink CSchick69 (who's supposed to be a female) I don't know but when you spam all the time :"You have been owned by a girl" and your spray is a supposed selfpics (a girl halfnaked grabbing her boobs) then I Strongly believe that she ask to be harrass for it. (I do believe that keeping your mouth shut is the best option here to frustrated that person) Now what would happen if My name was Blackcock and I would scream How does it feel to be rough by a black man (with a spray of wesley snipe) I do believe that racial slur would soon pop on the game my 2 cents (if you have problem reading my text just take 2 beers) If you still have probs well pat yourself saying you are already on a good start lol |
