Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.

Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.

Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

 No need to apologize--just test it! I want positive feedback (and tacit approval) to put it on FTC. This is the whole point of putting up a test server.

 It actually swaps people and it gives a heads up the round before that a swap is coming. It seems to be working but to utilize the 'player history' tracking, it definitly needs a larger sample (besides just bots) over a longer period of time. Most people seem to want a TB so might as well toss it on FTC and gauge feedback (too many/too few swaps) accordingly. apTB should be the name dammit!

 I fixed a minor inconsistency in swap decisions earlier today, and it looks uberhawt. It's kinda disheartening that very few people have showed up to test but I guess if it works... then it works.

There will be a few "gotchas" that happen if we put it on FTC next week but I'm ok with the idea. Remember: lack of interest has a price. smile

 Nah, SourceMod will definitely (I think it already does) work with OrangeBox. I don't think CS:S eventually switching over to the OrangeBox engine will be anything to worry about.

I have two very exciting announcements that I'm sure many people have been long-eager to hear.

The first is that SourceMod now runs on Team Fortress 2, and will continue to support all Orange Box games. It is almost 100% supported; only some esoteric SDKTools functions are missing, and those will be added over the next few weeks.

There is no separate package for Team Fortress 2. SourceMod will intelligently load by detecting your Metamod:Source version, and in fact, it will run on both the 1.4.x branch and 1.6.x branch, on either Source engine. For the most part, plugins and their functionality (as long as they're not game specific) should work out of the box. If you encounter bugs, please file a bug report.

This from one of the Valve devs on the HLDS mailing lists (from email, but I grabbed it at -[link]- )

CS:S (along with DoD:S and HL2MP) are going to be migrated to the new engine over the next couple of months. Until then you should *not* merge in the new SDK code as it will not work with the old engine. Once we convert the three MP games you *will* want to create a new version of the mod using the updated SDK source code. Makes sense? Sorry I can't be more specific about exactly when the games will be converted to the new engine. Mike
