ok, now I'm not doing this to start anything, but i was just curious as to why the server is 24/7 office. I know it's one of the most popular maps in Counter-Strike: Source, but i was just wondering why you guys don't throw maybe one more map in there. If it is some reason you would rather not share with me, just let me know. Otherwise, just curious... | ||

just leave it alone. people like it as it is. i like office. although i dont think we should have 2 24/7 office servers. I thing FTC 2 could be a different map, like dust or something. | ||

a short history lesson: about a year (and a half?) ago there was a server called "fish Tank Classic" it was the original [FT] clan server. it was 24/7 office. then it changed to become Digital Anarchy; a rotation maps server. after being known as that for a number of months Alex (alexh) a fellow patron of the original FTC and DA got a server and in detication of classic FT kept the tridition up. we managed to keep a great deal of regulars, gain a great deal more but we also lose fellow office fiends to the "real world" and the "outdoors" or "jobs". at the moment we are considering another rotation server (sorry alex if tat was ment ot be kept on the down low). so hang tight, until then enjoy the office server and the surf server! note: too lazy ot edit. sorry if it seems a little unclear? =/ |

Yes, Omni, that is fairly accurate. Two corrections: 1. The old FT server didn't include "Classic" in the name. 2. It was krem and Ian's idea to do make my server 24/7 office and call it "Classic Fish Tank," which I later changed to "Fish Tank Classic" because FTC sounds better, I think. Joker, I'm working on a post about the future of FTC2. Even if FTC2 changes format you'll still be an admin. |
