Personally I probably wouldn't play if alltalk was enabled... there's alot of times where I straight up don't want to hear what the people in the tank have to say. And I play to win, and I'm fairly serious about it. |

From vent to typing, there are plenty of ways to communicate with the other team. I have to agree with keeping alltalk off for the more serious players or semi-serious times when we just want to win. I'm all for Dtalk though. I like it as a way to communicate with everyone after your dead. The {US} clan uses it on their servers and i've grown to like it when i play there when my freind is on and i feel like non-office maps. Besides, I have had times where i'm glad i was swapped away from T because of the weird conversations we got into on that side. Of course i go back because i'm weird, but the short break really helps sometimes. And i couldn't get that with alltalk. Alltalk is fun for smacktalking when you're dead, but it kills a pretty key component of strategy while alive. It'd be cool when dead though. It'd be easier to curse at Goose for getting another jumping-no-scope scout kill... |
