Nothing really meaningful to say other than: Omni, Goose and I are definitely working on the new MOTD. The intention as far as I know is to offload much of the confusion over server policy; however, there will also be several useful infonuggets about stats, history, and shameless whoring of the uber nature of FT and 9²5. It will take a few more weeks at least, but hopefully it will be a useful resource for noobs, admins, and regulars alike. Oh, and it's definitely not going to fit all on one page!

Any chance you could make a setting to have the user decide if they want to hear the chick voice in the beginning or not? I don't mind it on some days, but on the off-days I have I sometimes hate hearing that voice with all the chatter and explosions RIGHT as I join, haha. |
