Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

like the others here, i don't really hold the equipment to form a long paper to tell you what i think about all this, so i'll just try to generalize it. not gonna lie, me and you never really talked more than once or twice and maybe a couple of times on the forums. but i you probably hold more respect than anyone else in FT and i wish i could have gotten to know you better peace out |

O_O' I.....I don't even know what to say AP. I've always just had you being there as the midnight warrior for when i couldn't make it in the afternoons. Our corner stone of FTC since i wandered into the server in 2005. I know we haven't spoken much over the years but i wish you the best in the future and good luck with the alcohol. We'll try and keep going without you but it won't be the same AP. Don't be a total stranger and visit us in tank or on forums every now and then! lets see if i can remember part of it right: O Captain my Captain! our fearful trip is done, The ship has weathered every rack, the prize we sought is won, The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting, While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring; Exult O shores, and ring O bells! But I, with mournful tread, Walk the deck my Captain lies, Fallen cold and dead. Wuv you AP, good luck! |

I haven't played with you anywhere near as much as I have always wanted to, but the time I spent with you has always been some of my best here at FT. I remember the first night I came to FT, god only knows how long ago, that I saw your name, and knew this was a cool ass server, and had some cool members were all gonna miss ya alex. good luck with your problems, i really hope you fix things up for yourself |

I defiantly cannot say that I know you. I can count the number of times I've played with you on one hand. However, I have seen your actions and initiative when it comes to the forums and the servers. Mostly I was impressed with your composure when it came to dealing with problems. Also, the huge financial support you have given FTC and even strangely the surf server and I defiantly respect you for that. I hope you will come back when you are good and ready. Don't forget to get sober too.

Today has not been a very good day for me. Out of the many things that have been going on lately, I did not expect to see this when I got here. I'm not going to lie, a little part inside of me died when I read the post. First Brett Favre retires, and now Alex leaves? Although you do not like to be referred to as the leader of FT, I can't help but to hoist you on that level. When most of the time anyone thinks "Leader of FT" they think of you as our leader. And to see you part your ways is definitely a heart sinker. I highly respect you for solving your alcohol problems. My dad was an alcoholic and my childhood ended up being in shambles because of it, so to part on that major note is definitely the most honorable way to exit. However, I think that this recent event had a little bit to do with your recent departure, and I can't help but to blame myself a bit for it. What hoped for the best turned out to turn for the worst, and in the end, this happens. I'm not saying that this certainly changed your mind like if you didn't have it planned in the first place, I just can't help but to think that it had to have a little to do with it. Knowing that you are going to part your ways with a disappointment in me makes me feel even deeper like shit, and I'm sort of a wreck over it now. Although people may not take it as seriously as I do, I consider FT in general a major part of my life. To piss off what I call the biggest part of it fills me with deep regret, and I sincerely apologize. Wherever the road takes you, I hope you know that your buddies back here in FT will always consider you the biggest part of it's success, and we'll be here for you whenever you need it. I'm going to miss your hilarious sarcasm in-game and on the forums as well. It sucks you have to leave, but you can't spend your life with a bunch of internet junkies forever. Good luck Alex, and I hope to see you back here sometime soon. Quoting from one of my favorite movies, Dead Poets Society: "O Captain my captain". Your departure is identical to the ending of this movie: -[link]- Edited Tue Mar 04 2008, 08:38PM |

Alex, I understand why you're doing all of this. You're a great person to have in this community, and I hope to see you back. I wish you much luck breaking bad habits and hope you enjoy your break. If all succeeds as planned, you'll be an even better person. Thanks for always having an open ear, and I look forward to playing with you one day soon.

Oh this is sad. You were a good lead operator. There are always good admins and good operators. Everyone with their good and bad traits. What people need as a LEAD op is someone like what you have been Alex. Not psycho. Hopefully i'll be talking to you!

Alex, Alex, Alex... First things first... When u come back, what will your game handle be?lolol Anywayz, i remember first meeting you back in the day when i first joined the community. October 06. I put you on the pedestal as the FT god. lol... I had fun playing on T with you all those times past midnight. You were, and will always be the midnight warrior. I can see why you want to leave. And it is very noble. Believe me, i can relate your problem. Im not an alcoholic myself, by my father was since the age of 14 to the age of 41. Quart of Scotch and a 6 pack of tallboys before noon every morning. And my life was always in danger cuz of it, cuz he used to drive trashed with me in the car, and i didnt know it. So its good that you are trying to quit. It will not be easy. My advice to you, which you prolly already know, is to say hello to a man named Bill Wilson. Hes gonna help you reach sobriety. Alcoholics Anonymous is an amazing thing. It works. It really does. And i also suggest you go cold turkey with the help of ppl from AA. Since Alcoholism runs in your family as it does mine, stopping little by little will most likely not work. Your in my prayers buddy. I will miss you as everyone else will. I will also do my part in keeping this community together. Its a home to me. Goodluck brother. Edited Tue Mar 04 2008, 10:07PM |
