after reading the first few posts i was gonna see things as Gooses Fault. but then goose made a exeptional post explaining and rationalizing all his actions. while i still think that also "mutting" him was a bit XSV i can see y he did that too. overall i see this situation as a big misunderstanding, and not admin abuse. CT camping, or things that look like CT camping can be REALLY annoying (expecially when it gets you killed). just remember dont be hasty to administer punishment. other than that TY oops. player input is good for us. and goose you are doing a tarific(sp?) job as head admin. keep up the good work! |

Goose my man, you need a publisher : P no big deal it seems, for future reference Oops, none of the admin punishments, other then ban and autokick continue if you rejoin, not to say thats how u can get out of them, just saying they are not permanent, just come back a play nicely and as long as no admins are pissed off, you shall be fine, welcome to the fishtank : ) | ||

while a little hasty, and regretable.. i have to back goose on this 100%. I know how it feels to put up with all that camping/racism/ect ect... constantly. 1 of every 2 days i play durning the middle of the day i'm the only admin on for a good period and if your by yourself with alot of childish people you can be hasty to act and it's understandable. When you have to constantly put up with a group of people camping, and others being dumbasses you can't always take the time to disect the situation and you have to act to put an end to the camping and whatnot. So his slap when both of u are in spawn late is perfectly understandable IMHO. | ||

The only advice I have is remember what you did 3 rounds ago. Another thing is that admins need to keep their cool (I'm sot saying goose didn't here, Acctually he did exactly what he should have), but some people need to figure out that admin is a privelage and not something to fuck around with your friends about eg. A friend signs on and you slap them at least 10 times and they ask you to stop and you don't. Stuff like that is gonna start getting reported (especially by meh) and you know who you are cut the shit! |
