i can see where you guys are comeing from but i have no real problem with kernel. He doesn't seem to use caps too much when i'm on, or i'm blind and i havn't noticed. As for mic spaming, he does do it with the menk and i can see where it gets annoying and i can get him to knock it off when i'm on if people complain but i really don't hear all that many complaints about it. Probly because he isn't on the mic 24/7 like other mic spammers who just fill it up with static. He seems to spread it out more, But i do notice him doing it here and there. As for knifeing all the time, it's the same with him as it is with horsecock snipeing... it may be annoying to some but it's well within the rules so nothing can be done. I don't mind it much though because like wu said, he is good at it and i only have a problem with people who only want to knife when they suck at it AND our team keeps getting crushed. As for his asking people to knife with 6 people left, wu is right in that he doesn't spam knife (atleast not that i see) and usually only says it once to try and get a knife fight that round, also within rules. maybe the fact i'm lvl 2 admin does get me more respect from him and he doesn't go as off border, or maybe it's that we get along pretty well... either way, i think a permanent ban is way overboard. After all he definetly isn't doing anything worse than what goose used to do when he was the bane to mine and alexh's existances, but that has changed dramatically and so can this. |

1. The Big Lebowski is a funny movie and that's a good quote from a funny scene. I haven't seen the movie in a couple of years, but how do you make a 'white russian' again? Milk and Vodka?  2. Using a knife, scout or any other weapon is totally acceptable. Being the only player left on a team and trying to knife the remaining 6 opponents is foolish and only hurts Kernell's team as a whole, but its not like he (or anyone else) can expect to clear out 6 players without getting killed anyways. It's like winning the CS lottery, rare. 3. This thread is a formal complaint about a player's conduct and it's from one person's point of view. Some people agree, some disagree. Likewise, there are 2 sides to every coin. 4. Bullshit! There are actually 3 'sides' to every coin. People seem to assume that a coin only has heads/tails. I tend to count the rim/edge/one-eighth portion of the coin as a 'side' as well. That's where you'll find me with regards to this topic. I'm mildly indifferent because while I have had to mute/slay Kernell many times in the past, I haven't had to as of late. Perhaps he doesn't pull this supposed shit at the times when I play or maybe he is detered because he is in the presence of someone who can, and is willing to punish/ban him. I can only speak from my own perspective. Either way, I cannot outright flame him based on what I have witnessed in recent recollection. HOWEVER, given that there is clearly a problem between him and regs/FT's, then perhaps a formal warning is in order. He is a registered member of the forums so I will send him a PM stating the situation. (Consider it sent as of 5 mins after this post.) I cannot assume that he will get it, so I ask that any admins who will see him soon to inform him that his actions are not Kosher. If his reported actions continue (spamming mic/text, TKing, team flashing, fraudulant votebanning, etc...) then he will be CONSIDERED for a temp ban. Something reasonable, perhaps a few days to a week, to let him know that his actions are not appreciated by the community. Again, I consider a PM as well as in-game warning to be a sufficient first step in the punishment procedure and if I personally catch him violating rules then I will STRICTLY follow the punishment procedure (as I expect that every admin will as well,) all the way up to a temp ban (if warranted and justified). A permanent ban at this point would be too extreme and given that he has over 130 hours of playtime on FTC, perhaps a warning is all that is really needed. Only time will tell. But having admins mute and deal with him on every occasion is not acceptable either. I can see how this is annoying because as droid mentioned, I too was a 'turd' for quite some time. However, when I was being flamed for spawn camping, I offered a compromise AKA: the 20 second rule (I'm taking 100% credit for it, not to boost my ego, but because I'm proud that I was able to offer the compromise months before actually registering on forums. It was a result of extensive in-game chat so Kernell's forum inactivity is no excuse.) There really is no excuse for Kernell's supposed actions though. Keep this thread open and make sure to copy/paste any questionnable behaviour from the console, directly onto this thread. Include a demo if you know how to and keep posting about problems that you see, regardless of whether or not 'YOU' think it will gather support. Let's point out the 'BS' in hopes of making FT servers the best in CS:S!! Praise Jah, GooSe Out. |

What I don't like is when knifers are hiding in the cabinets and I'm getting shot up by three enemies, or when a knifer is very slowly following the enemy who currently has his crosshairs on my head. Perhaps that clears up my meaning. |

I have not played with amped a lot. We don't log on a lot. I remember playing with someone named Amped before they were in FT. But I guess eh caught me on some bad days. And Alex and Goose and others who have played with the old kernel who was ranked last in FTC2 when it was office and almost last in FTC has changed. Im ranked number 2 now in FTC. I play a lot. I get along with almost everyone. I get really excited when I play in fishtank. I don't play in anyother serers at all. NOt even the rotation server it's not the same. And we lost member in the FTC server to the rotation server which suck as well. But I do get on the mic a lot, but not all the time. I played this mounring and only pressed the mic a few times to tell teamamte of other players positions and call for help. I do not intentionaly tk. Lies all lies. Check out my suicides with teh ranks reset. I have 9. All accidents. Suicides are from when your are slayed or kill yourself. WEll i have 9 and they are all accidents. I have not intentionally tk'ed someone in weeks maybe months. I changed. In ftc2 i was ranked last so i had to be ranked by pyshco stats where I made it to number 4 at best with almot 1500 points or soemthing and constant. But they changed that to rotation server. So i had to join ftc for office. When you were on and decided to post about me that day we played I did not intentional tk or have not in veery long time so that should be deleted from your post!!! Mic spamming thats understandable I do that now and then but hardly am i muted. Thats in the past. most admins post that was so long ago I have not played with goose in over 2 weeks, so thats old. I changed. Alex i have not played with your in months last time we played i was not muted. And as or people hacking, they do hack. At least once a week ftc servers are hacked. NO one specs and obersves. I on the other hand go to spectate and observer and it's clear that there are speed hackers and aim bot hacks on the server. Its so un-enjoyable to play with them I spam voteban! Who wants to play with peoplewho hack? it worse then mic spamming becasue u can alwasy go to player list and mute me, but u can't go to player list and ban someone who hacks. It has happend every since ranks have been reset a new hacker everyday. sometimes 2 at a time. no one even votebans them and no admins are present. So i belive it's up to me to help save the ftc server by having these people banned so players dont get discouraged cuz if everytime they play a hacker is on they wont play here at all. So i have to voteban them an get the message out. Spamming voteban should not be bad. It worked in the end didn't it amped when they guy finaly got banned huh........ As for spamming Knife? at the end of a round with 6 people left. If you know me whih u don't, I have knifed 7 people one round without them agreeing to knife with me in this Ftc2 server. It's not even rare for me to get 5 knifes kills a round when people are shooting me down. I am skilled in knifing. And when i ask someone ti knife, if they dont say yes or no and run out with a knife im shooirng becasue they didnt say yes or no so how am i susposed to know if they are going to shoot me or knife? i like to have an answer. if u didn't die in the beggigin of the round maybe ther would be 2 of us and 6 ct's left insteaed of just me by myself trying to take them all out. I play a lot better now, HAx are on. I can't even believe i was addressed. and i mispell a lot of words either i can't spell them or i dont care to correct the typo. ATI radeon x700 mobility with 128mb vram. 15.4inch widescreen lcd @ 1280x800 resolution graphics maxed out HDR lighjtin on, everyhing turned up like AA and AF. I get 45gps average in the FPS counter. I get occasoinaly pc lag when nades are thrown. I love FTC. I love everyone. I get so excited when "friends" come on like superman, shadow and goose, and cat poop. ther are so many to list i can't dropid, everyrone i mean, WU. i love everyrone, even you amped. and oh yeah i never posted before cuz my username and passwrod were stoed on this pc and i oudl not figure out the pass or email i used ot sign up with account or how to make a new account. well im on the forums now and here to stay !!! |

A few things to add to this post: 1. This incident happened less than 30 days ago. 2. TK stats. Here is some data about kernel: Last 30 days on FTC/FTPR: 81 TK This seemed like a high average, so I decided to look at my own TK stats: Last 30 days on FTC/FTPR: 22 TK FYI, "TD" means team deaths, as in your own team killed you. Maybe I'm exceptionally low on TK's, but still... that's a huge spread when you look at the average rate per hour! I guess he "accidentally" stabs his teammates to death pretty often. Wouldn't you expect someone who knifes a third or a half of the time to have a much lower TK rate than me, a self-proclaimed grenadier and AK sprayer? Kernel, I certainly have the capacity to look past your previous behavior, but I think a bit more supplication on your part is needed. Just being arrogant about how good you are (0.89 KDR since april, 1.32 in the last 30 days...uber) with a knife, and saying you've "changed" doesn't prove much to me. Also, when referring to hackers you claim "NO one specs and obersves. I on the other hand go to spectate and observer," and "no one even votebans them and no admins are present" just makes you sound like a prick. I guess you're single-handedly saving FTC from hackers, right? |

My brother plays on my pc as well but not since the ranks reset but that doesnt seem to matter. But u say u obsere and spec adn blah blah, well, were you in here the past week? No, were admin on when people were hacing no! there a whole thread on hacking started. so i try and not single handely, i ask people to voteban them. I do not have the power of an admin to ban ppl. So I let people know. On ftc Im 1.6kd for around 1,000 kills. I only play there now, no one uses my steam id. I have not tk since. I do not play the same. You have not seen me in a long time.
