Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Well, with the general acceptance of the death of CS:S (Minus Surf and H&S, which I still see in my own future), where can we move on to? It seems like the strength of the community still lives, our forum activity being the best example of that. It seems like the consensus is for us to find a new game to start on. Of course this will be difficult to decide, because everyone will obviously see each game differently. So, what are the options for our future? CoD4: A game that I have heard nothing bad about. It seems like the online play style of this is exciting, fun, and challenging. Another good quality is its similarity to Counter-Strike; it seems most of us would prefer an online FPS for obvious reasons. Having never played it, I don't know how servers work on it. From what I've gathered, it's like X-Box Live and you just join by individual games (Please, correct me if I'm wrong). So I don't know how it would work for any of us meeting up and hanging out. Diablo 3: A game that a decent portion of us really look forward too. Unfortunately, the key word there is "forward". I don't think this community could have the possibility of staying together just on the forums until this game finally comes out. Knowing Blizzard's priorities, it will be another 2 years before its release. Out of the question in my mind. No, I don't exactly know why I mentioned it. WoW: A game completely different from CSS, one that a handful of us have played seriously, and one that is rampantly time consuming. However, I know that the leveling process has been relaxed so much that an infant monkey with Down's Syndrome could hit 70 in two months. I don't know if FT would migrate as a whole to WoW, but even I would relapse to my WoW addiction to stick together with this community. A fantasy MMO could be a possibility for us for a few reasons. Firstly, we know each other really well and work together well, which is key to an RPG that requires teamwork and strategy. Secondly, enough of us know this game backwards and forwards well enough that we could teach the whole clan exactly what to do and when within a month of starting. On the other hand, I'm assuming that, like myself, a large population of us would struggle to afford the game. But, it's just a possibility that needed to be addressed. Diablo2: Out of the question for the whole clan. If CSS is too old and lacks too much of a fan base, than a game that is significantly older would not be a viable option. Age of Conan: I know nothing about. Please, someone give me an idea. Surf/H&S: Two fun servers that are substantially different from FTC. Not quite the same, but still familiar enough for everyone to enjoy. I currently see that 10 people are playing Surf_Machine2 right now, and that thrills me. Personally, this is my favorite option as opposed to a mass migration that will leave half of our members in the dust. Of course, this is assuming that the community wants to switch to another game. I know Glitch and several others have mentioned this, but I don't know exactly how everyone feels about it. This concept of a "forum-based clan" doesn't seem like something that will work for very long. FTS and H&S will still be a large part of this website, but I feel that without FTC not enough members will be introduced to our other servers. The last resort of course is this: 925 and FTC disband completely; everyone says their goodbyes and those who wish to keep in touch stop by the forums or use SF/Aim/MSN, etc. Surf becomes the backbone of our clan and those who aren't interested leave us forever. What does everyone want in the future for the Fish Tank Community Clan? |

i personally do not think we can survive without FTC. So many members came from FTC that if we just let it go, i feel most of them will end up leaving, whether they think theyre going to or not. Hide n seek is intriguing, as it has plenty of potential. If we can build up regulars that can help keep the server populated, it will succeed. But we only have a month to decide. Our best bet would be to stick with FTC and just try to make it fun again. Whatever it takes. |

i'm not changing games. If FTC continues how it is then i'll play teamsaints office server more. I play there because it's the only half decent office server with people on in the middle of the day when i actually have time to play.

I'm not the richest kid on the block, I don't have a job either. Only games you mentioned that I DO have is Diablo 2, which is out of the question for us fosho. Only other game than CSS that'd be the closest to our community is TF2, which epic failed when the server was released. I'd love for a TF2 server we actually play on, I'd be all for it. But then I started thinking more and more about it and decided that it's too optimistic to think about another TF2 server going well and probably any other game, noticing how we are a CSS based clan. Of course people would probably play on Diablo 3, but you can't expect that game any time soon. I'm definitely not going to start playing or paying WoW, I hate the game, cost aside, I've played it before and it's overrated. I think the best thing we can do is improve FTC, maybe even completely change it to something more successful and fun. We're going downhill, but we can get through this. Even if worst comes to worst and we lose FTC for good, we'll get through it.

Age of Conan is a joke. only half of us can play it, and even on "those half computers" the game would STILL be laggy. My brothers comp is decked out and can't play it properly, but can play Crysis easily.

Um... It'd be hard to migrate to a new/better graphiced game. As stated before in other threads, most of us have shit for computers. I'm out for TF2, it doesn't like my computer. WoW is also a no, because I am not paying monthly for a game. D2 is also out, because I can only play with a select few. (Canadians.) Because Blizzard made it gay like that. AOC, don't know... don't wanna know. CoD4, you can have a server I'm sure. But I already have it for Ps3 and I pwn at it. =3 |
