I don't see how your post about how the HnS server should be run, how recruitment should be handled, who the regulars of HnS are, who the admin team should be or anything else you said has ANY RELEVANCY WHATSOEVER to the topic at hand: Should we spend the money to continue the HnS server for another 3 month payment cycle? Should we then focus on populating HnS and Surf to increase the active member base of FT? And should after 3 month's time we review the progress and perhaps reintroduce a third server if demand for it exists? The answer to those questions, was YES. You either agree. Or disagree. Noskill, you should let people put their input in things instead of being some moody bitch. I agreed in the sense in adding on to what you proposed. If you're going to be some PMS juggernaut and flame people over their input then you can gladly use your womanly hormones to kneel down and suck my dick. We can either all work together or we can listen to Hitler scream at the top of his lungs while saying barely anything. Do not forget what the fundamental of FT is, a Community clan, not a Noskill clan. I love you man, and I respect what you're doing in hopes of one day re-establishing FTC as a successful server, but you have to have others put in their input as well. We can't have 5,000,000 threads with different inputs. It's a better bet to put it all in one since everyone reads it. |

Here's the problem with "numerous inputs" they result in numerous courses of action, disagreement over what should be done and ultimate disorganization. While what I say may be simple and "barely saying anything" that's good. The simplest course of action is usually the best. Democracy doesn't work here, it never has, look, it took almost a month for us to even DECIDE to use the Galore server for HnS. Even though HnS was clearly the favored option from the get go. That's an entire month of activity we missed out on. So excuse me for saying to hell with your input. As far as I know or can tell, I'm the only one who can take a "dilemna" and rearrange it into something that everyone can agree on. How do I do this? Easily, I don't confuse the tasks at hand with 1000 other different ideas on different topics that befuddle the shit out of the goal. So while I apologize for seeming harsh, I do not apologize for refusing to accept your input where it doesn't belong. Notice how only the the two people who went off topic are having any difficulty whatsoever in this thread. I'm not even saying your input isn't welcomed or unwanted, quite the opposite, all I'm saying is that it doesn't belong HERE in this thread. Especially considering that there are numerous other forums and threads pertaining to the very topics that you have ideas about. That's like walking into a PTA meeting and trying to talk about your Alcoholism... wrong meeting chief. |

The only difference between your aphorism is that my "alcoholism" deals with the same subject. I wouldn't have really cared so much if you didn't come across as a huge dick. If you would have said calmly to post it in a thread because of your initial point, I wouldn't have got pissed off in the first place. You came across to me as some narrow minded prick that had no room for other people's input. But you already realized that so I'll take your apology for it. I don't think putting my input in here would be any more disorganized than making numerous threads pertaining to the same shit. But nobody thinks the same, so whatever. And as for the NG thing, it was NOT the favor from the start. In fact, the server won by only 1 vote, and a member said that he would have changed his vote had it not expired. I think democracy has had a huge role in the way things are ran here. A clan with a leader who makes all the rules while the rest of the clan deals no input is a shitty clan. It's the people's opinions that got us this far so why throw it aside. |
