Title says "first", and this isn't the first time we've had to "develop funds" I just think no matter what, surf has always lived, with no issues about money. Therefor I don't see a necessity for this. Especially since Darknarf just made a thread saying funds won't be an issue, I think this thread should either be closed or deleted |

Nostie you already donated... that's why the total needed is $102 not $212... your donation, my donation & krem's donation have already been included. And Zero this is a system, a format, to follow in the future. It's the first "official" fundraiser with a system. A system designed to distribute the financial burden evenly among the people who wish to contribute. This is not just for this server either, this will be used for all future fundraising needs. Get used to it. To expect one person or a few people to continuously pay for things is 1) bullshit 2) unfair & 3) a poor showing on the rest of the people who could contribute but choose not to. This thread will continue to run until the money is raised. However if Darknarf chooses to he can throw his name into the list of volunteers to raise the remaining $102 needed. Noskill, in addition to what I have already donated, I will join the 3 other people who plan to donate, and split the extra cost -- that's what I meant. (so they don't have to put in as much, seeing as one of them said they couldn't pay more than 20 bucks, I figured I'd at least bring it down to 25.) | ||

Ok guys volunteering ends in 7 days. We got 4 so far. Nostie KD - $20 Phate Bandito - $25 Is that it? If so then Nostie & Phate will need to throw in $28.5 a piece. Once more person & everyone can drop an even $20. |

So, first week of school is over. I've bought most my art supplies (studio art minor) and my books. I've got my parking permit and my booze. This only cost me somewhere near $500, so I've done my budgeting. I can donate, but nothing over $30 so there is no need for narf to donate money, since with us 5 people, surf is covered for 5-6 months, how ever long it is. isn't that nice. |

Yay! Phase 1 of the first fundraiser with the new system has ended!! Thank you to the following 6 volunteers: Nostie, KD, Phate, Bandito, Rusty and Mibu. The total needed was $102. With 6 people that is $17 per person. This also means that no ones maximum donation amount was reached! Good work everyone! NoSkill wrote ...
