Ok, i dont think all of our admins have read the rules, so here they are. Updated and simple to read (the way i like it) Rule Number 1: Be nice to everyone. You are role models to the players and other admins. There is no reason why you should be randomly using admin commands. You use admin ONLY WHEN THERE ARE RULES BROKEN. Rule number 2: The admin talk. DO NOT SPAM ADMIN TALK. Again, only use it when there is a rule broken. Dont spam the rules in admin talk. Dont constantly be like "@@@ LOL OWNEDDDDDDDD" or "@ AHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH". That is jsut noobish. Once in a while you can be like "@ Wow cowboy that was a HELL of a shot. Good job" if you are dead. But thats it. Rule number 3: Keep the teams balanced. Before you join a team, hit tab and see how many players are on each team. Join the team with the least amount of players. Dont join the terrorists, say, just because mafia and boom and ruskiy are your friends and you want to own with them regardless of the fact that its 10 on 6. Join the ct's and tell everyone to balance the teams. If nobody does anything, make a member of the clan join the other team. And keep the teams balanced. Rule number 4: If you are an admin, you should be one of the last ones out of spawn. Look for spawn attackers, look for spawn jumpers, and take action on any you see. Then you leave. Rule number 5: If you have the ability to change maps, dont change the map to your favorite. Just because its your favorite doesnt mean its everyones favorite. Run a vote before hand. Then if it passes, wait till the end of the round to do the ma_map command. This way you can avoid pissed off people after the change. Rule number 6 Previously the rule was not to slap people if they are stuck. But under the new leadership, im going to say that if people are stuck and complaining, slap them. Its only fair. Otherwise you will have some unhappy members. If theyre stuck on a ramp and theres a jail on the map, tell them to fall to jail. But if theyre on, say, japan and theyre stuck in the water, slap them to safety. Rule number 7: Do NOT use any admin powers on other admins unless they agree to it or ask for it. If kevin asks you to freeze him, then do it and tell him not to get pissed if you do do it. But if you burn nostie, and he didnt want you to/didnt deserve it, then dont fucking do it. Rule number 8: Muting admins gets its own rule. Dont mute them (or anyone in that case) for no reason. Muting is for excessive abuse of mic or text. If someone is singing "Chicken pot pieeeeeee" and you dont like it, dont mute them with admin. Mute them on your ingame menu thingy by hitting escape. Then, kindly ask them to stop. If you just go ahead and mute him, he might get mad and mute you back. We want to stop the admin wars once and for all, because players dont like it and they tend to leave. So stop with the constant muting. Rule number 9: As an admin, you should know the commands. There is a nifty site here: -[link]- that you should bookmark. Then go to Admin Commands>Admin Menu System and then click on Command Names. This is a list of commands. Learn the basics. Also, you should have your admin menu binded. I have mine binded to -. In console, type bind - "admin" to bind the admin menu to -. To bind it to a different key, replace the - with the key you wish in the command. Nostie: ALSO!! if you need help with this: -[link]- or type "ma_help" in console for a list of commands Rule number 10 If you dont follow these rules, your admin will be downgraded a level.
