Vash has been banned on Fish Tank Classic. Check -[link]- for the full story. I was one of the people who didn't think he hacked or used anything "unfair". But now i suggest discussing "should we allow Vash on surf" Rule 7 Meaning: Anything admins deam as a "hack", used increase game performance will result in a ban. End of story. That is a surf rule. Using the demo, people's testimony, and Vash's own words, it appears that he had an unfair advantage over other players by seeing their positions through walls. Vash is under the impression that 'hacking' is the utilization of a program. Vash didn't use a program, rather he dowloaded an entire or a piece of a replacement 'cstrike' folder that changes a variety of variables for the sole intention of gaining an unfair advantage. That's why these hacks couldn't be toggled on and off with a button. After he was unbanned, he said he uninstalled steam and CS:S to get back to regular settings and this happened...  Hacker accusations are taken seriously and I would like to extend a thank you on behalf of Alex and the FTC admin team to those who brought the situation to the forefront. Thanks to Evilpig for the Demo. There are hacks that people are using that VAC hasn't caught so if anyone suspects someone of cheating, then please take a Demo and post it and the situation will be taken care of in a more timely manner than this one was. Should Vash choose to admit his wrongs, then that will be taken into consideration, but currently he seems unapologetic and doesn't care. He thinks that because it wasn't a hacking 'program', then he is off the hook, but that isn't the case. Sorry for being vague about the specifics, but in my PM to Alex, I provided links to a site that had multiple hacks and pointed out a few that were specific and consistent with Vash's own testimony in the Chat logs. I really don't want to reveal the specifics of the cheat because others might be inclined to do the same as Vash did. Thanx again for bringing this situation to the forefront.  Now if Vash has been identified as Increasing game performance by doing what is wrote above. Should we allow him to surf? This is not a vote or anythnig thats why it is in this forum. |

why not...even if he was hacking...the hacking were talking about here can't really help you in surf anyway | ||

He has been caught "hacking" on one of the Fish Tank servers i think something like hacking should count for all our servers even if it doesn't actually help him on surf it did on office. | ||

we banned numerous people from ftc and let them play fts. look at dreiz. he racked up 50 hours before he was banned. personally i dont have a problem with vash. as long as he doesnt hack on surf. | ||

i dont think vash is going to hack again (or have an "unfair advantage", w.e you wanna call it), but i guess we might need to keep an eye on him more than others... but i think it should be fine  he's always been a cool guy and never is a dick to people (at least when im there).

I've always had fun playing with vash, and like said above, have no reason to ban him from fts, unless he is caught doing whatever on surf. | ||

I can tell you for a fact that he doesn't hack on surf, just because of the bullets i've put in his brain, but vash is a good guy to play with, so let him back In I say. | ||

What most people don't understand, is that he didn't aimbot or anything like that, he just knew exactly where people were. That might help a little bit while in jail on some maps (machine2 and 10xfinal for examples) but it's only minor. In my opinion, I think he should not be banned from surf until there is conclusive evidence that he is using the same programs/hacks/whatever you want to call it on the surf server. In the end though, its up to the ops/admins disgression. | ||
