I <3 everyone who tells me what's going on in surf! I really do. i welcome complaints and requests for bans -- requests for change in admins, and additions... but there are other people who can take care of your needs. I hear everyone telling me I'm not doing my job as operator... and honestly I'm kind of getting annoyed at it (in general!!!)... I don't mean to sound like a prick, though i know it will come off as sounding such -- but I've spent a lot of time with FTS, and I've worked on a lot of stuff. I think it might be time we add another operator, and that people start using the admin roster full of xfires when they need to call people into the server. I <3 you all, and i know i owe you because i let wow take me, but if you could, ask someone else. Of course, if you ask me I'll hop on HLSW and BAN BAN BAN if i have time, but sometimes I'm in battle or something of the sort, and I can't come out for a while. I don't know where people keep getting this "nostie does nothing for us" notion, but I can vouch that even though he may not log on the server that often, he's working behind the scenes with FTP (he set up a seperate server so people could download maps faster) and taught me everything I know so far about being an op. I'm not saying you owe your life to him, but he definately doesn't deserve some of the complaints I've been hearing around the server. | ||
