lol. Cookie does it, well. Used to. So don't single out Postman. Kill binds piss me off, but i have used them in pubs else where and in our server joking around. Like jumping off of a ledge into the abyss but kill binding before they can shot you as your falling to your death.Or running directly at an enemey and as they try to shoot, you kill bind nad lay dead at their feet rendering them confused, giggley and pissed at the same time. As for kill binding soley on the point that you will lose a couple extra points becuase the person is new, or give a top10 player more, because they are better then you or whatever the case may be along those lines. (Longest sentence ever) I don't agree with that. My views contradict themselves and i guess they are flat out twisted. I think its bullshit also for any admin to slay someone for doing nothing wrong by the MOTD. Maybe you should read it over? It says don't disrespect, but aren't you by slaying him, disrespecting his right to kill himself if he so sees fit, because there isn't a rule saying he can't? I wouldnt of taken the time to write out this thread if all I wanted to do was publicize a complaint. I'm not calling you a fuckin idiot and the ol' clasic "oh your just mad because Im better than you ktulu"... ive fucking come here to get a problem resolved, not to bitch at people. I already told you I'm not gonna call out names. I'm just generalizing the situation. Im not going to say, "oh he did this and he did that, that one time and OH what about this time?" so you can pick it apart and call me a idiot and i suck at the end. but people do kill bind all the time. and whats the difference between going into console and typing kill and having a kill bind. Apparently, these two things are completely different. Im not asking "one a bind and the other isnt", im asking whats the difference overall. btw, rule #1 of admin rules in the motd: "Be Nice to everyone.... Use admin ONLY WHEN THERE ARE RULES BROKEN" You can twist and play on the admin-decisions-are-final rule but this is rule#1 and kill binding isnt a rule. But just to shut everyone up, Ill stop killbinding until the admins come to a final decision. Once the rule is applied, i have no problem in following it. -postman |

Edit: Reading a thread from the beginning and replying to something when you think it's at the end (only to find out you have TWO PAGES to go) is not the best tactic. get part of the picture or learn from the numerous times i've done this. Postman, my job is to enforce rules. I do this. I also believe I should make sure people are having fun. Your kill binds clearly piss people off. Therefore, I take action. I would also like to say thank you for stopping the kill bind while there is no concrete decision made. | ||
