Actually, in office, I don't think Shift actually tk'd someone, the ff was all fun, he didn't necessarily deserve the kick, but I don't wanna get into this. When you came back you were an asshole, trash talking, and shitty trash talking at that. You deserved the ban from office. Sorry, this has nothing to do with the original thread, just clearing things up. |

I don't care what anyone says, Shift is a good person who doesn't deserve the shit he gets. He gets insulted, derided, and punished more often and more harshly than anyone else that I have seen in my tenure in FT, including prior to me joining. Tell me, is standing up for yourself after putting up with this shit for so long a bad thing? Don't you guys ever just get frustrated to the point that you have to fucking vent? I'm telling you, if you guys would just leave Shift alone and try to block the misperceived notion of his "immaturity" you would see he is a blast to play with. I've never seen anyone joke with him. I've only seen personal attacks on him. Just leave him to himself and be nice to him, and you will see that action in return. As soon as I took that approach, I have loved seeing the kid online. He obviously likes our community a lot if he comes back after putting up with so much shit. I think his loyalty to us merits our respect and our acceptance of him. And this goes for all people: Stop being a dick, and no one will be a dick to you (I think Jesus or Gandhi or John Stamos said something along those lines). It's a good motto to live by. |

I rarely if never have to ban someone for annoying me to the point of banning. The last person I banned because of that was Froob, and you know how much of a pissant he is. Last night, he decided to start harassing a regular (Wurgf) for no apparent reason. Wurgf notified me of the constant team attacking, and at first I didn't do anything because I thought he would at least stop. But he kept going on, eventually tking him. So I kicked him and his partner starts going WTF WHY THE KICK and starts the verbal abuse. I just ignored his laughable attempts trying to insult me. So Shift comes back, and we keep going. Apparently, they were mad at me because I didn't want to knife. Anyways, the logs on HLstats will show what they said, and the admin logs via console will show what I said and how I handled the problem. As I had said before, Shift brought it on his own. I did not 'single him out', I handled it like any admin should handle it. I'm sorry if other people's problems may add onto mine, but mine were I'm sure of it completely different. b4ndito wrote ... In fact, it was him and his little assmonkey partner that personally attacked me. Of course, it was nothing more than 2nd grader rifts that failed miserably, but you get the point. I shouldn't have to treat others like a fluffy bunny to get treated back with respect. Admins SHOULD be treated with respect no matter what, it's a rule. You should say that advice to him at least in my situation. I'm not sure about other people's situations, nor do I care. I have my own personal perception of him and it's going to stay that way. If he has any intentions of swaying my opinions about anything he can apologize to me. I did nothing but my job as an admin. |
