If you shoot a pig 7 times, you don't plan on eating it. That's why this upsets me so much I guarantee you they ate every good piece of meat on that animal, and mounted it. The majority of hunters are not just "trophy hunters". Every single hunter that i know eats what they kill. In hunting there is always a possibility that you may not kill the animal at first. That pig took 7 shots to kill it, they weren't just wasting bullets into it. If he hadn't put that many shots into it the pig, it would have come back on him, his friends, and the kids. Now i feel like dropping it with a few more shots is a better choice than having a child mauled by an 850 pound boar... but maybe you think different. I personally have had to slit a deer's throat to put it out of pain. I dropped it with the first shot, then when i got up to it, it was still moving and grunting, so I did what needed to be done. Moral of the story is sometimes you have to do a little bit more to take an animal down. That's just how it goes. p.s. He did piss the pig off. It would of tore them a new one if it had the chance. What did you want from them? did you want them to knell down and say a prayer for it? |

Its alot of pressure because if you dont get it right other people could get hurt. I'd like to know if you could stay cool, calm, and collected when doing that. O and that sweet spot you are talking about, right "below the ear", is relatively difficult to get at. His first shot was alot closer to it than i'd imagine you'd be able to hit. perhaps a better weapon choice i'm on your side on this one as far as hunting goes but a fucking 50 cal deagle is not a hunting weapon i'm not actually sure if that's even legal |
