Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Then prepare for financial mayhem. Will this be the last straw to break the camels back? I hope so. |

i don't understand how America, which is supposed to be the world's biggest super power and supposed to have some of the world's greatest minds, can't come up with any other economic solution other than to print more money.

Because they refuse to admit that regulation is required to stabilize their economy. Apparently regulation is evil. Edited Sun Sep 16 2012, 05:14PM |

They get these ideas that they think will fix problems when the fix will only come when they leave things alone. They have been "regulating" the economy for decades and it has been leading slowly and slowly into absolute financial destruction. Sure, you have booms and busts, but since the early 1900's the financial system has been in a slow decline and we are now at the end of the line. If we let things be, they will get worse very fast. But this is what needs to happen. Everything that cannot support itself and all these rich fucks that got away with murder will lose lots of shit, and banks and all that jazz will collapse and companies that relied on credit and federal help will fall under. It sucks but it is their own fault for being ridiculous. The mal-investments will disappear and stronger and stable companies and busineses will take their place. Bailing out GM saved thousands of jobs yes...but they deserved to fail and collapse. They sucked as a company, they made shitty products that could not compete domestically and internationally, their quality took a nose dive....and what do we do? We keep them in business. Any other company would have gone under and made way for something better. The beauty of a free market. |

bailing out GM was a stupid mistake that has happened a couple of times. I dont understand how one of the biggest car companies would go under, just like dodge the only one that wasnt bailed out was ford and as far as im concerned they make the shittiest vehicle out there, but thats just personal preference talking. Yes glitch you are right the government trys to regulate shit way to much thinking they are doing a good job.

Any other company would have gone under and made way for something better. The beauty of a free market. The regulation in the US is the problem you're right. The regulation in Canada is the solution. Our banks aren't setup by just anyone with 1 million dollars, thus the CDIC doesnt have to doll out millions in failed bank funds every year and we dont have hedge fund managers shorting the market causing it to fall even lower than it should. You guys have a yoyo stock market because of poor regulation. Economic regulation is like anything, you have quality, and you have crap. You dont buy a Chrysler V8 and expect it to match an AMG V8. Same way the Canadian economic regulation system works so well and the American one works poorly. This is not a Canada vs situation, i just dont know any other countries that i can explain their regulation systems and back it up. Blanket statements like All regulation is bad, free market is awesome so just let them be. is complete stupidity. Remove all regulation and its like removing criminal laws and saying well as long as you dont piss off that murderer he wont murder you. I'm sorry but people are greedy as fuck, regulation keeps them in check when done properly. |
