nostie is right about everyone dying... this has nothing to do with the movie but i was watching the science channel and scientists believe that Yellowstone National Park will blow up sometime before the year 2120. For those of you that didnt know, Yellowstone is a Super Volcano. When it blows, it will wipe out 85% of the earths population for numerous reason's. It blew 3 times. One about 2.4 million years ago. Second was about 1.2 million years ago, and third was about 600,000 years ago. Shows the last two have been consecutive 600,000 years. That would mean, it could blow up soon. Scientists have already proven that there is a huge magma pool, roughly 3-5 miles wide, is building up underneath yellowstone nattion park. When something like this explodes, it brings about a 15 degree drop in climate all year round all over the world. ASH will spread in the sky all across North and South America and pollute air, water, and kill most of life on earth. And you yourself can see that YellowStone National Park is a tourist attraction because of the guysers and hot pools. Caused by heated earth from the magma underneath. Who knows. Maby we will have too many ppl on earth depleting everything in site. Then the supervolcano will reset it. Some say that a massive earthquake will kill everyone. Some say a meteor. The last meteor most of you prolly dont know only happened not to long ago. It was large enough to repeat Dinosaur history. But it missed earth by around 800 miles or so. I feel that within the next 150 years or so we are all gonna be dead. I agree with Nostie lol. Anywayz, good movie. It scares me though. P.S. I just said that i meant nothing of everyone dying... but yeah it'll happen. a few years ago my prediction was 50 years (but at the time i was thinking nukes... i still think it's a major probability) computers could end up launching the nukes though... who knows? | ||

I've actually put some thought into this glitch, and I believe that yellowstone will errupt in the year 2012 on August 16th. The first vent of the supervolcano will errupt in the Norris Geyser Basin (specifically the Porceline Basin). I made quite a few trips to Yellowstone and studdied the geology there (very interesting place). I base this wild assumption on nothing, it's just what I think is going to happen A precurser to this will be a massive earthquake in California sometime during the year 2010. If I'm right on the earthquake, I'm taking two years between the quake and erruption to stock up on supplies for the next ice age lol! I'm just making wild predictions here, and I'll probably be wrong, but there is a chance I could be right. Although I can't prove this to you, during the sixth grade (1999) I predicted something significant (didn't know what it was) was going to happen September 21, 2001. As I'm sure you all know, 9/11 happened that year. I was ten days off! You don't have to believe me on this, but I know I predicted that, and my gut tells me that yellowstone will blow in 2012. well, they predicted (they being scientists), at the way technology was icreaseing reapidly around 1980, that we'd have flying cars by 2003. Don't see that, although, some have created flying cars, and just dont have a good energy source. But think about the good. New technology mean safer transportaion, maybe we could actually have a good control on hydrogen as energy. It's cheap, and when residue is mized into oxygen, what do you get with h, and maybe 2os? H2o. Wow, a residue of water, that can't be bad for hte enviroment. There are super computers now, there are chess computers that are pretty much unbeatable. think about it! |
