to be fair, the plane pulls up right before the guy.

the bottom of the fuselage is about 10 feet off the ground so the guy was never in danger of being hit by the plane itself, but as noted by a fan boy on the page the blade sticks down about 3 feet past the bottom of the plane.

the guy would have had to have been sever feet tall (it did not look like it) and the plane would have had to not pull up (but it did) for the guy to be in danger of loosing the top of his head.
