Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

You know, don't is a contraction for do not, so you don't have to contract you're do not to not do what your you're doing not while what you do don't not do. Edited Wed May 20 2009, 03:46AM |

I mean it's more money..But instant data access..Just saying. |

Its not a bad idea, if you dont mind spending $280 for 128gb of space...lol. For games, spend $199 and get the 320gb VelociRaptor at 10,000 RPMs. Its a 2.5 inch drive in a 3.5 inch case so its super quiet and runs very cool. The load times for games and booting windows are not that different... if at all. Dont get me wrong, SSD's are the shit. In the near future i will be buying one. The technology is so much better... but the price per GB is horrible... especially when you factor in the SSD's that have the JMicron controllers (they become unresponsive for 3-4 seconds every so often). When they perfect the tech and drop the price i will be loading up on them. |

Honestly, you're much better off getting one solid state drive and a much bigger hard drive instead of the velociraptor. Put all your games and your OS on the ssd; and all your movies, music, or anything else on the regular hard drive. This intel ssd is probably the best: -[link] .4ngryToasters wrote ... - Knightrider wrote ... Solid State Drives crash easily..I'd watch out with those. My hardware teacher warned us about them. I do a lot of retail for intel. So naturally I have to research their shit. Let me tell you, there is no better ssd on the market right now than -[link]- . It has an average read speed of 250 MB/s (some people claiming up to 500 MB/s.... that's like transferring everything that's on your computer now to the new one in under a second) as far as reliability goes... well I'll admit I don't know first person what to expect, but intel claims their ssd lasts 1,200,000 hours (137 years). And if you do get a dead one, well, just rma and get a new one lol. I know my next build will have this drive in it. Something about boot photoshop in 3 seconds just sounds so right to me... | ||

I had a chance to use a Solid State..And I was mighty impressed. |
