All admins in Fish Tank servers must follow these rules.



Admin requirements

Member of [FT], or have 3 senior admin votes for your admin
18+ or equivolent maturity level
Regular participation on forums
Reachable on xfire or AIM
Plays on server more than 3 sessions per week

Admin objectives are to ensure a fun environment. Balanced teams, well behaved players, and a welcoming servers are what admins are for. Admins may punish behavior by any means they like, as long as it is a justified punishment, which is described for each offense below, under punishment procedure. Warnings are required for all actions (except hacking). All admins are liable for other people connecting to Fish Tank Servers under their steam ID, and misusing admin.

Definitions:
Senior Admin Council- Level 3 Admins and above for the server vote on what needs to be done with players. The server op, or co-op must choose two appropriate actions to vote on. The vote will be a hidden page, and a PM will be sent to the senior admins via the website showing the link to the vote page. 36 hours after, the votes are closed, and the results posted on an Admin Only section of the forums. Majority vote wins.
Punishment Procedure- All admins must follow this procedure in order. Upon repeat offenses by the player, you move one more punishment up the ladder.



Stacking
-Admins are REQUIRED to balance the teams. If the teams are unbalanced, and you are on the winning team, switch teams to keep the server fun to play on. For a definition of stacking, if a team wins 4 rounds in a row and you are more than 2:1 score, the teams are unbalanced. Ways to unstack a game are: Giving money to losing team, giving health to losing team, or by switching players to a different team.
-Admin stacking is a very important to avoid, because it makes people dislike our clan. Dont hesitate to kill yourself in game to switch teams. Its the only time suicide is responsible.
-Punishment for admin stacking will be severe. Screenshots that show admins stacking will be counted as proof, only if 4 screenshots are taken, 4 consecutive rounds, where the admin is allowing teams to be unbalanced. If your score is above 2:1 on the fourth round, and your team has won the last four rounds, it will be counted as stacking. First time is a warning, second time is lowering admin level by 1, and third warning is a vote to have your admin status removed.
Punishment procedure: Warn, Swapteam up to 2 times, Kick


Hacking
-Admins that ban for hacking must be sure the user hacks. Demos are required for any ban over 1 hour. If you cant be certain, DO NOT BAN. Unrightful admin bans, or punishments for hacking will be issued with a warning, then a vote to remove ban ability from the admin. If a player is suspected of hacking, and it becomes a situation that is making people leave server, a 1 hour ban may be issued. This can only apply if the persons score is above 5:1, and more than 3 non-admins are having a problem with the possible hacking.
Punishment procedure: Level 3 Admins or above- perma-ban (with demo) Level 2 or below- ban for 999 minutes, and report on forums (with demo)


Arguing
-Admins are not to argue with players. Admins must keep superiority to players, and to keep the server under control using admin powers, not chat. If a player is making a disruption with you, warn them that admins decisions are final. If they have a problem, forums can be used to report that.
-Admins are not to argue with other admins. Use the forums, or xfire to take up disputes. The higher ranking admin makes descision at the time, and admins can dispute differences on the forums if needed.
Punishment procedure: Senior admins only- Warn, Mute, Kick



Maturity
-Admins must act mature on the server. Dont be a sore loser. Dont accuse players of hacking, or joke around about hackers. Even in a joking way, it can make the other players uneasy. Dont abuse new players for not knowing what to do. Maintain the game, but dont be a jerk. If a punishment is issued for personal grudges, or uses punishments that are outside th bounds of the punishment procedure, the admins status is discussed between senior admins, level 3 and above for that server. If immature behavior is a habit, admin levels will be reduced, dropped from the admin list, or discharged from FT. You are FT, so dont give us a bad name.

Admin Abuse
-Admin abuse should be disputed on forums. If an admin has a personal grudge against a player, and uses admin powers on them, it is abuse. Overuse of admin powers can only be dealt with on an individual basis. Server chat is monitored, and log files can be used as evidence of admin abuse. Make sure that your use of admin is in accordance to these rules, not about personal grudges, an allowed punishment for the crime, and not against another admin.

Taunting Admin
-Admins are to maintain superiority on server. Saying that, admins are to use proper escalation procedure, which is listed below. Admins must have good reason to punish for this. Repeated badgering of admins, bashing of server, and bashing of clan are all considered taunting admins.
Punishment procedure: Warn, slay (if you want), kick, 1 hour ban


Admin Punishment
-Like other players, admins get a warning. If the problematic behavior continues, a council between senior admins will take place. The admins will discuss what needs to be done with the player, including loss of powers, loss of clan membership, up to perma-ban from all FT servers.
