Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

b4ndito wrote ... Wow, three posts by sla. Thanks guys, I'll check it all out in a little while We're probably not very compatible (sorry, lover!) when it comes to music because you mention you're not into techno. It's obviously subjective when it comes to your definition of "techno," but the trippin' balls / glowstick rape variety of techno doesn't interest me. That said, techno influences do have a significant impact on music I enjoy. I'm feeling a bit lazy right now, so give me a hint about some bands you're into. What are these six albums that have recently consumed your life? |

Rebelution sounds familiar to me. Alex, the 6 albums I've been captivated with are Fear Before the March of Flames - Art Damage Incubus - S.C.I.E.N.C.E Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank Refused - Shape of Punk to Come (a classic, if I may say) Sound of Animals Fighting - Tiger & the Duke Tool - 10,000 Days I'm into a lot. I'm gonna try to find Tool's Discography cause I only have 10000 days. I like most rock (as long as it's original... I hate Puddle of Mudd and all that other shit). I enjoy some rap, but mainly west coast g-funk influences. I want to look into the roots or something like that. When I say techno I mean all the shit that Knight posts. I didn't hate the techno that Piggy played for terrorist dance parties. And Glas, I have been waiting for Dre's new album for years. I've heard it was supposed to be out for forever. Saul Williams (specifically List of Demands), Pedro the Lion/David Bazan, Explosions in the Sky, Bishop Allen, Iron and Wine, Spoon, Cake. If you want something a little eccentric, Man Man, Neutral Milk Hotel, and DevotchKa are pretty out there. Edited Fri Jan 23 2009, 02:33AM |

Everyone has their own sort of unique taste, but in order to get into trance/techno that's good you have to be open minded about it. If I may suggest some to get you started on, you can check them out and see if you like them, and what style moves you. Downtempo: -[link]- Trance: -[link]- Ambient: -[link]- Drum and bass: -[link]- My guess is that Bandito's music has to have lyrics, but to me the sound is what gets me more than lyrics alone. Which is why rap is pretty much useless to me. Good choice with Incubus, though. Personally my favorite album by them is Morning View, which also happens to be my favorite album of all time. EDIT: Here's a decent selection of streaming (not to be confused with 'steaming') audio: -[link]- I've donated bigcashmoney to somafm.com before. If you want to see it 'keep on keep on'in,' then please donate as well. Seriously, it's hawt. It's in San Fran, where KD is. Omni and Omega are close too. Edited Fri Jan 23 2009, 05:41AM |

Knight's kinda spot on. I need lyrics in my music, because that's what I wish I could attribute to a band. Unfortunately, I can't sing no matter how well I write my lyrics. Thanks for the suggestions guys, and keep them coming. I'm kind of satisfied on rap right now, to be honest; I'd much rather get some new rock. I just got Tool, Fall of Troy, and The Number 12 Looks Like You Discographies, and I enjoy this so far. I'm gonna go fool around on Pandora to get some more ideas. Edit: Does anyone else here like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy? Edited Fri Jan 23 2009, 05:45AM |

If you haven't already pandora radio all the shit you're into right now and you'll get a good list of other artists that sound like it within 20mins of listening to the channel. That's usually how I freshen up my music database. I'd probably only end up listing artists you've already listened to because I focus primarily on alternative/rock/punk. When in doubt go back to the stuff you were listening to 2-3years ago. | ||
