Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

This is the 5th anniversery of what most people believe to be a terrorist attack on the World Trade Centers, Flight 93, Pentegon, ect. I want you all to aknowledge all of the people that didnt deserve to die on that day. I know that its been a while, and most people really dont give a shit about it anymore, or they just seem to forget what happened really. I think about it every day because most of the kids in my school that have graduated in the past 5 years have went off to fight in the war that has been started. This is the thread to bless all of the people that have lost their lives just trying to commute to make money for their famililes. This is the thread to bless all of the firefighters, police, w/e the hell brave people, that went up into that building to save the people they cared for. Even if it was planned by us, or even if it was terrorist, they still risked their lives because they cared. |

I think that for me on the western coast, it doesn't affect me as much as some peole on the east. I don't knowk what it might be like for everyone over there, but I'm sorry for whatever it is. I think they are stretching and using this an an excuse to make more shows, movies, and even to help with the new election. People vote for people because of fear. |

Kd dude i think he was looking for a good comment, more support, this thread i dont believe was for political views, no offense. But being in MD we felt a big affect on 9/11 at first u see it on the news and u couldnt believe it then u realize this is live tv and u watch live as the plane hits the tower, being only about 11-12 when this happened i wasnt able to fully grasp teh sevarity of what happened but having friends and meeting people who lived in NY all their lives or having family friends exc that had died their it was a very emotional, lucky none of my close friends or relatives were there. Then again i wasnt there front row like those in the city that day. If any of you remember Jello or as i know him Dom he was there at the towers on the day of the attack, he was actually in tower 2 when the first one got hit, and it was a very emotional subject for him, so i couldnt imagine how it would be for someone who lost a husband, wife, borther, sister, mother, father, son, daughter, exc that day. Keep them in your prairs and wishes, because like hes said even though it was 5 years ago some events and some people should never be forgotten.

I knew 3 people that died at the pentagon. I live in MD, and could see the smoke from my school. I dont believe in god, but those people deserve respect. The firefighters especially. 343 firefighters died saving our fellow countrymen, and that is who I think of when i think 9-11. |

This day is pretty emotional. I thank God, that no1 I knew, worked at any of the places, but I cannot stress the fear I felt, when this happened. We were under attack, something I couldn't imagine before. Living in NY I think about this every time I am in Manhattan, or any time there is a mention of it. It was something I think noone will EVER forget. Even if it didn't affect you too much.

This day will always be in my mind...at the time my grandfather worked in the Pentagon and you can imagine what went through my mind when we were finally told what was going on, b/c the high command at my school had decided not to say anything about it to anybody for a long time, thank god though my grandparents were in Boston at the time, a fact I had forgotten until I got home that day...only a month before the attacks I myself had walked through the wing that got hit, it had just been reopened b/c of remodeling and was very nice, thank god that it was this wing that it happened to since not many people were moved back in yet This was a most terrible of days and I think that we should remember the survivors and the heroes and those who fought against the hijackers to keep them from doing any more harm We should keep these people in our minds and honor them because they died unnecessarily Thinking back now about what happened it still pains me and many others, especially those who lost loved ones, to know that these people died for no reason and it is disheartening to me that I read that somewhere over 50% of Americans could not tell you what year september 11th occurred in September 11th 2001 is a day that will live on in infamy and a day that we will all remember |

All I have to say is innocent people died for no reason but to fuel a war we never fought back in for almost 30 years if not more. Now, we fight back because we could no longer ignore the threat. God bless all those in uniform that serve everyday to protect us here at home. With out them, this post wouldn't exist and neither would our ability to play as a group in FT in the safty of our own homes. I will never forget the sacrifices they continue to make and all those souls be them, Jewish, Italian, Arab, Polish, Irish etc....(AMERICANS)...that we lost that tragic day.

Im glad to get so many responses from this because it affected me the day that it happened. I remember I was sitting in school around 9 ironically enough in my history class. My teacher came in and was like, "oh my god america is under attack" and that just sent chills down my spine. As soon as I got out of school I went home and watched the news immediately. Out of my intense fear, I couldnt help but to be glued to my screen of watching the two towers fall over and over again. Some of my closest friends are firefighters and I have one that was on scene (He travelled all the way up to New York from here in Pittsburgh). Its great to know that we have these kinds of people living in the United States and that not all people are evil. Its a strange, demented world out there and somebody has to do the dirty work, and if its anyone, its these guys. Bless firemen, and bless the brave New York firemen.
