-[link]- The number of wounded has risen within the last hour and could still rise.... if you're unaware of what's going on turn to any news channel station.... the shooter is dead, whether there was another shooter is unconfirmed at this time.... the shooter was described as an asian man in his twenties... Update: School officials reporting at least 20 dead, 28 people being treated now... sad 2nd Update: Virginia Tech president confirms the shooter has been killed. Not clear whether he killed himself or was shot by authorities. turn on CNN or FoxNews! |

Fucked up story. Worst campus shooting in history. Sucks. Especially if you went to school right up the road, spent lots of nights partying there, and know so many people that went there or still go there. Bad day. This is just becoming all too common. A few months ago I watched a story on Charles Whitman, the texas college tower shooting-- it was the start of this fad, and also the start of SWAT. The solution isnt sposed to be REACTIVE, its sposed to be PROACTIVE. We need to focus on the fucking way our society works/doesnt instead of how to respond to tragedy. Get to the root for this one, its the most comprehensive solution. |

One of my best friends got shot last weekend and was killed, I imagine how bad it would be for 22 more people. Wow what a horrific incident, this world gets fucked up more every day. | ||
