wow this thread really got me watching more ROn PauL videos and he really knows what to say because he makes sense. I like his thinking....so i think i'd vote for him. (lol mad funny im sitting here this fucking late watching political youtube videos....gay) |

Ron Paul has some good ideas, but basically he is a dumbass. Only douchebags wouldn't allow a raped woman to have an abortion. Oh and forget about curing previously incurable dieseses with stem cells, because only a braindead ape would ban stem cell research. NoSkill, don't preach this your shit on these forums. If the only topic you disagree with him on is abortion rights... then it's a good bet in my book. None of you are women so honestly, why do you care whether abortion is legal or not? Don't worry, abortion will always be available, legally or not. Personally I'm pro-choice but just because I disagree on ONE topic (a relatively miniscule one at that) doesn't mean he's not getting my vote. The major objection I'm getting from people seems to be "Why are you voting for someone who isn't going to win?" This irks me to no end. Because, that's how a democracy works, you vote for what you believe to be right. End of story. If he doesn't win, he doesn't win, I could pose the same question to the millions of people who vote for the eventual losing candidate. |

I also said stem cell research. It makes me really mad when people minimize abortion. Which would you rather a raped women do, coat hanger in a back alley or a safe facillity where it will be confedential and safe | ||

That's a woman's decision, not mine. As for stem cells, they've learned how to create stem cells from the ebryiotic fluid cells now. So that's a moot point. |

The latest big advancement in stem cells was the transformation of skin cells into stem cells by using a virus that alters four genes in the cell. Even though it's been done successfully, there's still a lot to learn about how stem cells work, and for that, natural embryonic stem cells are needed. |

Actually I was wrong. Upon further review Ron Paul believes same sex marriage, stem cell research funding and abortion are all state issues. Not those of the federal government. |
