Everyone shut the fuck up. I come to check the forums and all i see are people bitching about kever and how it is such a giant wrong. Not to mention how the admins were out to get her and were "just looking for any little thing to ban her". Do you idiots even read this crap? Piece of advice. Get the fuck away from your comp, go out, get drunk, get laid. Just get a life. Once you have accomplished this, work on advancing your critical thinking skills. Probably should enroll in a logic course or something. Logic, or any equivalent course, should loosen the tension enough to remove your heads from your collective over dramatized asses. I never heard any mass complaints about how it was an injustice when half the server (including many regulars, which you guys tend to think matters) complains nonstop about kever "hacking" when she is on. Or when many of these complaining idiots begin to purposely TK her. Where was your outrage then? Seriously, how about a little consistency in how badly someone is treated. And this whole thing about admins being out to get her. Who the fuck thought this up? Well if it was an admin saying this then you could attribute some truth to it because there would be atleast 1 wouldn't there? But no, the only people i've seen/heard say it are non admins who wouldn't know. People who don't see what happens in admin chat. So if your so gullible and quick to believe something said by someone who has no logical reason to know, then you are an idiot. That is not a flame, just a fact. Did some admins believe, or atleast question whether kever hacks? Yes. But questioning it doesn't mean your out to get someone. There were also those of us who did not believe she hacked. Being an admin, and in the latter category, i sort of kill this idea of an admin conspiracy for all you conspiracy junkies. Sorry. If alex or kever want to say anything about what happened (if anything) then so be it. If not, then stfu. Just stop acting like 5 year olds and quit crying because you don't have things your way and/or you don't receive instant and up to date PMs every 10 minutes about every little thing that happens. The world, and this community, do not revolve around you. Your mommy may think your #1, but that is about it. |

I think before this was posted we all realized we were idiots and we would just stop, sit and wait. but I mean going out of your way to flame everyone after the problems were either gone or somewhat solved. Seems "logical" Everything said was going off of rumors, and what people had said. No one has posted anymore fucking babble, and we are all just waiting and we are all relaxed. Absolutely no reason to flip out like this. Im retarded, I was drunk, I said some dumb shit and was out of position and rank, I realize that. Ive already posted in like 4 other fucking threads about it. Dont see how this one thread was necessary |

This is what I was hoping I would spend my Sunday afternoon doing: clearing the air of people making drastic decisions based on half-baked theories. Despite what others have posted in this thread I appreciate your comments, droid. Hopefully your post, and this one, will put things in perspective. I have made two critical mistakes in the past week. The first mistake was to allude to hacking concerns and what many people assume to be Kever in John Mayer's exit thread, and the second was to take Kever up on her request to have her Steam ID banned from FTC last night. Apparently my comments on John's exit thread got some people thinking Kever's days were definitely numbered on FTC. That seemed to set the stage that FTC leadership was going to get rid of her "no matter what," and some of you went absolutely rabid when someone figured out she was actually banned. FTC leads/ops have been discussing Kever and the legitimacy of her gameplay. Quite contrary to popular belief, we have been handling this issue with sensitivity and discretion since our private dialog was started in January. Kever recently became aware of this (by someone other than a lead/op as far as I know) and requested her Steam ID banned. My take on this was that banning her would provide a quiet exit for her, save her some dignity, and it would forestall a public discussion of which she stated she did not want. It's not an ideal solution in my opinion, but it is what she asked me to do. I did not interpret her request as an admission of guilt about hacking, and I completely understand wanting to avoid another public discussion in which "Kever" and "hax" appear--one "The Fate of Kever" thread is enough for me, too. Had I not been so naive to think that people would not learn of her ban, well... things would have probably ended quietly and we wouldn't have several threads about this topic. Hopefully some of you feel enlightened now, and this is an appropriate time for a couple of folks to execute an "insert foot in mouth" maneuver. I'm sure many of you thought you were helping Kever by tossing around righteous indignation, but my opinion is that you caused precisely what her ban request was intended to avoid: more public drama about her. Let me also say that I'm disappointed that the integrity of FTC's leadership is being called into question with so little solid information up to this point. The leads and ops still have a private discussiion going. If something comes of that which is fit for public consumption then we will let you know. |
