Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.

Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.

Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

 With all of the interest in scrimming lately, maybe we need a Private server to scrim and practice on. Having our own 10-man private scrim server would be a good opportunity to host matches and work on strats, while giving members who have never scrimmed before a chance to try it out. I came across a site that is offering free Private servers to the clans that can pony up the most votes. It's RETARDEDLY easy and I'll copy/paste some info directly from their site...

The process is simple; you create a user account, fill out the team form and select which server you would like to win. [i]
Once your team page is setup, you will then need to advertise the team page and get users to cast a vote in favor of your team. The goal is to give this link to the community supporting your team and have them cast a vote in your favor. You will want your community to return to the site once a day and cast a vote for in the category you are competing in. The competition will run from the 1st of each month to the last day of the month. On the last day of the month, the teams with the most votes in each category will win the server. Voting will end at 11:59 PM on the last day. All winners will be e-mailed their server information. Sponsorship times vary; typically teams win the sponsorship for one month. So if you would like to keep the server, please make sure you select a category once again and repeat the process over.

Voters do not have to be registered in order to vote, but if they do register, thier vote will count as two points instead of one.

Voting Rules

Users who are not registered to vote. If they are unregistered, their vote will count as 1 point and they will be allowed to vote once every 48 hours.

Users who register to become members will count as 2 points when they cast votes. They will be allowed to cast votes once every 24 hours.

Members who interact on the forum at least once a week will count as 4 points every time they vote.

[It takes 2 mins to register. Basic stuff like a user name, password, valid e-mail.]
Voters are allowed to vote once per day (or 48 hours for non-members) in each category. One server is counted as one category. Members can vote for one team in each individual category.

[They have a few categories like CS:S, 1.6, CoD4.]
So we have a little over a week before this month's voting session ends. The [FT] community is very large, so I think we can make a strong push during this week and scoop up this server. wink (The top clan has 98 votes thus far. Even if we can only get 10 people to register and vote once a day for the next 8 days,,, that will put us at 160! This is VERY doable, but it will take a small effort from many of us. These clans that are competing are probably small 5 player clans. Lets blow them outta the water!)

1. You can toss around the link to random people on your e-mail list.

2. Let server regulars know about this campaign and encourage them to hop onto forums.

3. We can all take a minute a day to click a button because we will need a bit of teamwork to ensure victory. Whether you are at work, school or home, its easy as pie! wink wink wink! wink

It is a Private server so it has to be Password Protected at all times, but the password will be posted on forums. Because it is a Community initiative, Rcon will be given to those who are interested and to those who want to help in gathering votes. This is a great low-risk opportunity to gauge our level of interest in Competitive gaming and its a good chance for everyone to contribute to the Community as a whole. Even if you are not interested in Scrimming, we can use the server to hold a Scoutznknives wink tourney or other fun events. (If we can manage to get a shitload of votes, maybe double or triple up our nearest competitor, I'll try to use that as a bargaining chip to extend the term of the contract,,, but no promises.)

sad face because... Me and my local group of people I play with, need a server, and cant pay for it, lol. And this idea comes up... and I kindof want to try and get it for our group... We are starting to build, now have forums, and a server would be great.



idk if ill do that that... the only reason I would is because we already have servers we play on, and last time we had our competitive server it was gone short after it started.
