I know, but I wanted people to grip the severity of it. im 45 minutes away from NY and what has become of ground zero, the least this can do is help people that don't live close to NY grasp the severity of the situation | ||

Well that and alot of other things have made me sad this week, a girl that was local to me got in a car wreck, and died a day later. All her friends left her like, goodbye comments on her myspace, and it was so sad to read them

Wow bro, thats disturbing. Its really hard to see shit like that, especially when your hearing the man alive and talking, and boom in 2 seconds, hes gone. honestly im from canada, and yes it doesnt affect many people here as much as it would living in the States. That kind of stuff affects me, seeing someone lose there life like that, and how horrible it is. And the guy told his wife that he was ok, and he'd be home. How his wife most feel, and what a loss. But i have to tell you guys. I actually went to the US that year, and i happened to go in August with my parents to visit family in New jersey, which is about over an hour away from NY. Well we decided to go to NY couple days later, and actually got to see the Towers, and i love to travel and see things like this. It was a experience for me that id never forget. Well we got there and went to the Tour tower where anyone can go, and it take you to the 109th or 108th floor i believe and then you take to escalators up to the roof, and wow how amazing that was. And not only that, also see the amount of people, and the the amount of people working, all the young ones, middle age, and elder, and who knows who was there at the time when the towers fell, could of been any of them. And its sad to know that some of them lost their lives. Now a month later, back in school, you hear on the news that the Twin towers were just hit. How hard is it to believe that? Trsut me very hard, when knowing that a month earlier you were just there. The main thing was that, we were actually suppose to go beginning of september to NY and we were suppose to come back september 15th. Who knows if i would have been there on that day, but its scary to think about it. |
