Both attacker and victim must have touched the first ramp before attacking.
Is this what everone considers spawn attacking?

kevin, some maps don't have a second ramp, or the first ramp is really long, or the ramp ends around a corner, so the admin cannot see if someone is spawning (by your definition) all the time. Simplicity seems to be the best approach for this situation, so I think the moment you and your victim touch the first ramp, you are free to fire at whatever you like. However, if you decide to be a douche and stop on the first ramp to fire back into the other team's spawn, that's slay worthy (guess that's covered by the "no camping" rule, but w/e).

Same with emerican. I think that if you hit the first ramp and the other person did, you can do whatever. Second ramp rule is gay, i want to be able to try to knife someone on the first ramp.

I have an issue with spawn attacking though. Say a person will skip the map, and take the tele to the other teams spawn, before, lets say an admin doing his/her job (narf's rule, admins are last to leave) in a 5-10 second period at the start of a round. How is that fair to a person, or admin (say a person got an xfire)? I feel as if there should be a time set before you can attack the other teams spawn, say like 15-20 seconds,if they aren't out by then, so be it?

yeah, i totally agree with rusty, i think that people tele too quick on the maps, it barely gives the people who get xfired or admins, etc. time to leave spawn before an enemy blasts their head off. so i think 15-20 or more seconds should do it.

as of now....going through a portal is considered finishing then map and then your allowed to spawn jump/kill. so technically its legal...maybe that rule should be changed idk.

When I was admin the way I saw it was, if you are completely out of spawn then it is not spawn attacking. Whether that means flying through the air on the first ramp. If it was called "first ramp attacking" then it would be different.
