[poll] Lack of active admins
Marsh, Wed May 24 2006, 12:31PMfish tank surf has plenty of admins, but we do not have enough regularily active admins. Calling in admins whenever some ass decides he wont follow the rules is a trouble that can be avoided. Sadly, my idea for an autokicker with the fag-o-meter wasnt carried through, but there is still hope for a better fish tank surf.

i have been saying this for a while, and its time someone else realizes it.
My mom emailed my teacher today. So, (most likely this time), i will be back full time by tomorrow. So i will be very active on FT Surf. If an admin decides to add a more active admin, ill be available.
I know ive been saying this for a while, but i finally have my science grade up over a c+, its just a matter of when my science teacher decides to email my mom back.

If you need a more active admin, sign me up. I'm always on F7L5. The only reason for my absense lately was a: finals, and b: I've been trying to learn some more advance mapping (and then applying it into my maps). But yeah, I'm definately on in the morning and usually most of the day after that.

4ngry and Emerican would server the best becouse I see them on alot. Marshy as well. Angry and brian, first try getting into F7L5, you'v been on the server for a while so ask around, I'm sure someone can help. As to the no active admin part. I can honestly say I am not on alo these days becouse of the many things I have to do. Then when I get to play my addciction to FTC takes over >< . I would like to thank and say that kddude l33t scooter and bobby are two admins who are doing a hell of a job and are on ALOT. That's my 2 cents. Ill try to be on surf more often. Peace.

im glad that lots of you guys guys agree with me on this matter. and i too want to acknowledge the good job that admins like kd and bobby have been doing in eliminating the rule breaking faggots. So lets fix this problem that is getting worse becuase fish tank attracts a lot of 8 year old faggots like "w@rm sauce." The popularity is almost too much sometimes.

Let's add 18+ to the server title (I could swear it was there before). This way we have an excuse to kick/ban anyone with w@rm or dragon or mayonaise in there name (by that I mean little kids).

It's really funny. People are asking for new admins, but there are atleast 15. I have not been able to own all you noobs and rule breakers due to a broken computer(read the chat box) but when I fix my problem, I'll be playing more. Don't miss me too much though!

There are many admins rusty, but there arent enough active ones. 2-3 active admins isnt enoguh to control the punks that venture into the server

Burt is right on so many levels about the 18+ fish tank is a fag magnet because it tries not to be. vote kick and vote ban are uneffective. people will hardly ever voteban unless someone is hacking or tking like crazy.

I can't imagine he wouldn't do a good job, he seems level headed enough. I don't think we really need "more admins" as much as "more admin freedom." This may just be my opinion, but if I were a new player on a server with the rules "No Spawn Attacking", yet every round I can do it and only get slapped or slayed...I'd keep going. Listen to FTS's own credo "Break the Rules..We Break You" Someone breaks the rules, boot his ass. If he wants to play nice, he can come back.

So, yes, punish if they break the rules, but make sure they know the rules first . I suggest the regulars bind a key to say "no spawn attacking/jumping/nading. Please type motd for rules" and don't be afraid to use it. Then you get to rape him with your abuse
