Im not terribly qualified, just a part of a CAL-O season being our secondary strat caller and then helping out Ti. but if people want me id be interested. | ||

I remember ftpr, it took away ftc2. We lost many regs that played on ftc2, that didn't want to play on ftc. We should just kept ftpr, it went down, then we went back to ftc2, and we'd already lost our old regs, so we fucked it up. (Ftc2, shoulda stayed *crys* ) Don't know what this has to do with the thread.. but just saying.. Also, when ever we have a new server, the first month it is full, then of course, it dies soon again, to be another faliure. |

I could donate to whatever the need is as well. Problem with "FTc": The leaders picked random people they just happened to like to be in that part of the clan. And I'm talking people who just plain suck at normal CS. I won't name anyone, I'm sure Emerican knows who he is. If there's going to be a competitive part of this clan, I'd like there to be tryouts, and possibly an "A" and "B" team. Posting a thread that says "Who wants to be part of the competitive squad?" is just stupid. But yeah, sounds good. |

Im in for the Competative team. i ahve PMd omega, still didnt get back to me, about joining Ti. for the competition. But if we get the competition back in FT then im all for it. We do need some sort of tryouts, but heres the thing. There are many, and i mean many good CSS players. Having one 5man team with a few alternates wont dot he job. Even two teams of 5 wouldnt do it. If we were to hold tryout, we would get at leats 25 ppl who are amazing at the game. We need to have a very organized group of teams. Each with his own leader, This would also be good for us as we could scrim each team together. Each pointing out our weaknesses and strong points. If i tried out and had a bad day and didnt make the team i would be pissed off knowing that i am good. Knowing that there arent enough slots. We need to satisfy everyone. If we have more then one team, do not class them. Do not have one team labled better then the other, for that will bring down morale. Every "qualified" team should be equal in class. Each playign against eachother making both teams stronger and better. As many of you know i have been in Cal. I have experience, but its hazy since it was well over 2 years ago. I remember a few strats, as well as some tips. I am all for it. EDIT: If this were to pull through, ya need a server dedicated to Scrims and practices only. Playing all the Cal maps and practice maps. 16 slot. So 10 for a legit game or scrim, and the extra slots for ppl to watch over and spectate the game being played, if being of course a practice match. The spectators would learn tactics that they are unfamiliar with, can listen in, and also point out errors in each teams performance. Edited Sat Jun 30 2007, 09:09AM |

a 25 man team is a bit excessive. Pro teams rarely number anything close to that and rely on a close knit 5-7 starters. Look at any of the top teams, you see the same players playing time and time and again because they rely on the chemistry and the understanding that they develope. Yes you need a good supply of skilled backups but what you really need is a dedicated, skilled, consistant 5-7 players. As to a server, source TV would also be needed. Honestly, we dont have the players to make 5 skilled equal teams. Take the best and put them on one team and go some where with it. | ||

I can send someone in mail $50 for a server. Also alex, talk to tits about the rotation server. I am not 100% sure about it, but he was saying that he wanted to start it up again and pay like for 6 months in advance so that he couldn't just shut it down. Just talk to him about that. | ||
