Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

1) Cannot be a business because it states in the objectives of the project that you are not allowed to make any project for profit, due to school taxes, etc. And the organization I go through is completely non-profit providing Medical Aid to countries all over the world. Including Parts of Africa, Belarus, Sri Lanka, and more. -[link]- - look here to learn more about that 2) This is a gaming center. However, during the weekdays from 3-5 pm it provides a place for kids from the school or that live locally to use the computers for homework, or just a place to hangout while their parents finish working 3) A business wouldn't survive in my community because it is too isolated, and it is too small to gain a large enough income to have even one employee 4) Prior to my project, every saturday at this place we would play 6 v 6(still do, I'm going tonight as well), and for an hour out of the 5 that we play video games, the elders of the group teach us ways to become a Gentleman, a better man, a proper Son, and a better Husband. From their experiences they teach us what they did wrong, how we can improve our situations, and how they always have Male Mentors if they need them. Yeah, sounds gay, and like bunch of old men are just babbling to 10 year olds. But you wouldn't understand the experience unless you were there. I personally have learned little, but I've still learned. And I've SEEN how much it has improved kid's lives. To me, having men fight for their freedoms while at the same time trying to be the best person they can be, is better than handing out Condoms. 5) Profitable Business = won't work Contributing to Society = More than simple money and condoms Gaming center being stupid = wrong. We would help kids with their homework and help develop them into Men. Doesn't sound stupid to me... in fact I've never even heard of a place that does this... Another thing is, it seems like it favors boys and men, and it does. But, we have female chaperones for the girls, and we also have numerous movie nights during the week and on sundays, and occasional co-ed gaming nights. |

I troll these forums every once in a while these days and haven't been brought out to say anything, but noskill you're a complete asshole and fucktard. Non-profits generally arise from a market failure -- this is when they're most efficient. If zero feels that the youth in his area are not being given sufficient incentive to stay out of trouble, opening a video game center is not a bad idea. As an economist, your preaching pure "selfish" capitalism is rather laughable. The fact is that the taxation, which you're touting, has distorting effects, it makes us less efficient. Why do we have taxation, a decidedly unselfish institution? In part, it's a reallocation measure (higher tax brackets for those with higher income and funds allocated towards unemployment, food stamps) and it's also to provide for public goods. Due to the nature of a public good (non-excludable, non-rival, etc.) they cannot be profitably provided by a private market. Which bring me back to my point, which is that unequivocally saying that non-profits are inferior to profit maximizing firms in terms of providing public welfare is wrong. I'm not saying that Zero has selected an optimal good to provide with his center, but maybe he has hit upon an area where there is a market failure for where he lives. It's worth a shot, and he'll know soon enough whether there's a demand for what he's providing. TLDR Long: Nonprofits can be better than for-profit-firms at providing public welfare depending on the market. Zero has a good notion with what he's doing. TLDR Short: Pie |

You should care too, there are positive externalities that come from a happier people. I am familiar enough with Smith's ideas to know where you're coming from. I'm not wrong though. | ||

The world isn't supposed to work like "I scratch your back, you scratch mine."Knight, people don't have to do stuff for you in order for you to help them. In fact, the world would be a much better place if people weren't so bent on expecting something in return. How come people can't just be nice to be nice? Good luck with your project/"gaming center" Zero, I hope it turns out well. |

If any parts are missing from the second option(like monitors) we will separately search donations for that as well. I kindof need help though. I have a VERY promising Donation Application from Bestbuy that almost guarantees at least $1,000 for stuff, if not more. I'm wondering if you guys can help me find Donation Applications for this as well. I was told to look through the Bill Gates foundation, but I can't find shit. any help plox? |
