Well i said you obviously didn't check into it because all you said was that by getting rid of the income tax we couldn't pay the military or fund government agencies. Yeah, who needs cops, fire fighters, and teachers? I don't! Fuck all that shit.You didn't say anything to help this point or how you came to the conclusion, so it appeared as if you just decided to blurt it out. Unless i read something wrong and missed a whole lot. I don't disagree in that the funding has to come from somewhere, you just never said anything about how it's better one way than another, just seemed as if you were blatatly saying "no income tax means no military" unless i read that all wrong. And blatantly saying no income tax means no military is ignorant, and that's what it looked like you wrote. If i missed something in those first 2 posts that obviously says differently let me know by pointing it out, wouldn't be teh first time i've missed something and looked stupid. The funding for the agencies and services comes from the sales tax that makes up for the income. As for my mind being set no matter what you said, that is false hence the (depending on what makes you say such). I was just saying that i've looked at both sides thuroughly and it seems to me that getting rid of income tax is a better way in that it is easier to manage, more fair, and less costly and i think you'd have to have really good evidence to the contrary to change my mind. It's not that i won't change my mind or refuse to be persuaded, i just don't think there is much of an argument out there that i havn't been through. If you thought of an argument i hadn't been through with someone then i could change my mind but i don't think it's out there so i didn't believe i'd agree that income tax is the way to go. and if you find being called ignorant insulting i wouldn't read much from me, my belief simply put is basically that everyone is ignorant, stupid, and foolish. |
