Bah! Long posts. (I suck at them.) HELL YEAH I WOULD FUCKING PLAY ON OUR 24/7 OFFICE SERVER! Though not all the time, because that's impossible for me. Football practice, RL shit. But my computer time will and shall be donated into Office. |

Im down noskill. I tried somewhat to the best of my abilities to populate FTC with Awse several times. I had it jump 10 people within 10 minutes of playing. Its very possible. School has been finished for me for 3 weeks now. am somewhat jobless currently, because my move to upstate NY has been put on hold. I have massive amounts of time on my hands, and im down for office play, for a good jumpstart. I also would like to "nominate" myself for a shot at the admin team...?lol.. Ive been around pretty long, am a proud member of 925, was an admin for a long time, never had 1 complaint against me, and for the most part, i think people trust me?lol? I keep the peace. If you need someone to fill in a spot on the head admin team, then i would love the job. As for server funds, we should have that in the bag. We still have $280 saved up for the sole purpose of reviving FTC. With Noskill getting the galore server for $45 a month, we get 6 months of play right off the bat. That means we are cool to possibly March 2009. Im with Alex. |

50 people is going to be tough to get. Do we even have 50 people who frequent these forums? In any case I say we don't hinge the decision on this. You have to keep in mind once the server gets 15 people, the remaining 7 slots are easily filled by non-regulars who see a decent server. I have jumped on other servers -- WITH YOU NoSkill and people out of the blue just say "hey! FishTank! when is office coming back??" I think we have some of that grass roots support, but the backbone must be from this community. That being said I can definitely offer my support. Alex, I cannot do anything technical but I have been an admin since the time you left and would be willing to continue that post or anything more that I can do. |

I'm just saying... you need ALOT of people to make this work. Trust me... we did this 2 months ago, trying to populate an empty server daily SUCKS. It's not fun. Just find the people... find the people first. Neither Surf or HnS is taking off w/ connections. I don't see the demand to warrant the effort. Give it some more time... I wanted 3 months... it's been 1. I would like to stress patience. |

well... ima student with a new broken laptop what does this mean? i play css about 2x a month. but i miss office. so i will contribute what lil i have, prolly $30 or so. now i need a paypal account. umm bring office back kthnxbai. |

We need a new branch of regulars. Unfortunately, we possibly have lost all of our old regulars. Aggie, 1337surgeon, Mr. bean, and others. Getting back good people like that will be hard... so we have to give them something that is worth sticking around for. What I'm thinking is more advertising. I don't know how well this will work for us in a game where advertising is minimal... but we need to stick our name out there so people see it, and not just on the "internet servers" list. Unfortunately we not only need patience for the server to happen, but when it does happen, it's gonna take a while to get back to our norm that we used to have. We are gonna have alot of little annoying kids we have to deal with slowly, and probably alot of pricks that just want to fuck around. Getting back to our old state will take time... I personally am looking to get this computer running better, or getting a new computer within a month. So if it takes 3 months, I'll be ready by then, just not next week. |
