That's when I ruled out the possibility of wallhack. I never thought she hacked in the first place. Also what alex said is so true, do you guys not remember how good Bowser and Wulfram were? The only people I see complaining in-game are the non-regulars. It would be embarrassing and immature if everyone voted to ban her. Was Tom Brady banned from the NFL for being winning 3 Superbowls? Was Iverson banned from the NBA when he led the league in scoring and crossed over Michael Jordan? No. And it's obvious that plays of that caliber would get tested for steroids. They came out negative, proving some people just have more skill and talent than others. Was Lance Armstrong accused of cheating? yes. Are there people who take Lances defense and deny him ever using steroids? Yes. Was he banned? no. Instead he retired before anyone could make a final assumption. Hmm..this reminds me of Kevers situation. People accuse Kever of cheating, and is not banned. Some people take Kevers side, some don't. You do not hit someone back if they're attacking you. That's against the rules and you should follow them. You have a home here you just have to follow some rules though. Most people complain but sometimes when I'm there I'll notice that you do complain alot. But that's only like you said when you are doing horrible. If you are getting attacked by someone, just tell the admin that is usually there that there is someone attacking you and they will issue a warning. If it persists then that person will be kicked for misconduct. It's better then making enemies and it's better then getting on the admin's bad side. You, like everyone else, are a valued regular that we'd gladly welcome into FTC. I really have no problem with you when I play with you, it's just that you have to keep your misconduct to a minimum. I usually keep good composure with the team attacking but my patience is limited so please, just tell an admin when someone team attacks you. This is probably the most lenient response that you're going to get, so I suggest that you follow my directions and just follow the rules. Haha Wu, that's a good comparison but it is only a generalization. I doubt that from a female's perspective that it's going to be the same as a male bike superstar such as Lance Armstrong. Will this thread ever die? I can't say I'm happy that people would prefer to keep a problem rather than fixing it, it doesn't make logical sense to me. I hope Kever finds somewhere else to play where her mere presence won't be a disturbance. Ironically enough, if Kever doesn't return, then it looks like the problem will be solved and even though a NO majority won this vote, the Yes side got what they wanted,,, a smoother operating server without this particular disturbance. I suppose in this instance, both sides are content because Kever is gone, yet not banned.

to what bubble goose said...how it doesnt make sense that they just dont fix the problem and that "kevers mere presence is a disturbance....." themajority of ppl that play regularly want her to stay so where is the problem? Nightrider is also admin I think, if it was a unaimous admin vote to ban Kever..thats difficult to argue with but not all admins are for it. And also she isnt the problem, its the whiners and complainers. | ||

BEFORE YOU POST HERE AGAIN! READ THIS! Guys it's pretty much over. Kever left anyways since she got tired of all this drama. Vote wise we voted not to ban her, yet it dosen't change the fact of what just happened. *Stnads up, in the middle, putting his penis away, back into his pants*----ziiiiiiip--- Guys look at us. We got all rallied up into a big fight, insulting each other, calling each other names, and acting like PMSing girls. Now it dosn't matter wheter Kever stays or goes, becouse thats not the big picture here. Look at how a little problem, can instantly tear apart, and devistate a community, so close as Fish Tank. Look at ourselves. Calling each other noobs, and what not. Spamming in game chat, to get more votes for your side. And for what? A community is seppouse to stand for one, as one, and help each other out. But, we instead of coming together to solve one problem have went about creating a bunch more by arguing with ourselves. I say enough. I say no. I say never again. I vote peace. |

I truly hope you consider the consequences of your logic. You embrace intolerance towards rule-abiding regulars under the guise of keeping the server operating more smoothly. You cast fear, uncertainty, and doubt on connection rates and about the public outcry that was supposedly expressed to you. I'm scared that enough people will complain to you that our responsibilties of issues such as team balance are bogus, and what other course of action could you take, by your logic, other than caving in and appeasing these people? Unfortunately the only person I can ultimately blame for this is myself. I agreed to this "compromise" of having a referendum on whether Kever should be banned upon your suggestion. I was naive to think that even if more people voted no to banning her that she would automatically decide to stay. Hopefully she has not ultimately decided to leave, and realizes that there are regulars and admins willing to approach situations such as this with a more positive attitude than your "fuck it, ban her" tact. It was pleasing to see both those who are and are not familiar with Kever add perspective by mentioning Steel, someone who lacks many of the positive qualities of Kever. I actually counted the number of hacking accusations via text chat over the past two weeks (and asshole accusations, which Steel won no-contest) against Kever and Steel.
