As you may have noticed, last weekend I upgraded the script on FTC that gives cash to losing teams. The script still gives $8,000 to a team that loses three rounds in a row, and now it gives an additional 25 health to teams that lose five rounds in a row. Also worth noting is the win counters do not reset when cash/health is given to the losing team. Previously, you would see one team win three rounds in a row, losers get cash, and then if the winning team won again it would be recorded as one round in a row when it should be four. The counters should be accurate now. I have already discussed this with my ops/leads (they don't need to reply again, unless they want to  ) and, while I haven't heard any negative feedback yet, I'm open to suggestions on what else we can do to improve this script. Any feedback is welcome, thanks.

ooo, so thats what it was. I figured god was just being nice and giving us 125 at start. Nah, but to be serious my only problem is that the health is every 5 losses with no exceptions. I mean, what if your team has lost 5 times already, get the 125 hp, but STILL lose? The odds are already stacked against them if they can't win with 125 and the next round the health doesn't stay at 125 but rather decreases back to the 100 standard. I guess they'll just have to rely on admins to balance the teams huh -_-' Edited Wed Feb 28 2007, 03:41PM |

If they still don't win after $8000 and 25 health, the other team should all be turned into beacons lol. | ||

But, even though the mod doesn't reset, it still gives out money right? Meaning lets say CT just lost 6 in a row, do they get another $8000? Basically im wondering if it's a multiple system or not. |

Yes, Holler, cash will be given on losing streak multiples of three and health on multiples of five. Based on some of the comments, it seems there is still a ways to go... There are many different directions this thing can go for team balance, and I'm definitely interested in making it flexible for as many people without being too rigid. Please keep the comments coming!

so far im liking the script alex. honestly the only thing i can see that you may want to consider is it rearranging teams or players after so many loses in a row. other then that cool script. | ||

Yea, i agree with tits. Like maybe if one team wins like 7 rounds in a row, teams get switched up somehow. The script works great. | ||
