I 100% agree with what Amped said and I know what zero is saying also. I am going to post this again as I keep saying it over and over again. Kever forces everyone to play better. She can be killed in game so everyone needs to stop bitching and man up. |

The fact that Kever plays (or played?) on FTC made me the player that I am today. Everyone else should take notes, spectate, and learn from the great players, then repeat what they do. Most of it just comes from map experience, and knowing timings. | ||

If you watch how kever plays, she pretty much does the same exact thing every round. Once you get used to what she does, you can kill her. She has even told me crap tha throws her off and i would of never thought of that. She proab could run her way through office even if she was blind folded. | ||

well it's nice to know that the same exact shit goes on months after i leave as what went on when i started. Same shit, new people. I think part of the problem is a lack of leadership. Aside from Alexh there doesn't seem to be defined leadership. And alexh is far from perfect so he can't do it alone. His big flaw is that he doesn't have anyone balancing him out. He sees things his way and acts soley on that and goes all out with those actions. This is by no means an insult to Alexh as that is a good trait decisiveness and quick reaction to situations is necessary, but no good trait makes a good leader unless you have the right help. The greatest leaders surround themselves with people who share the same goal. But those people also have very different beliefs and with traits that supplement theirs rather than those with the same traits. This makes them great leaders because they can now see all arising situations from all angles and beliefs, but still have people who are willing to work towards their common goal. This is great leadership because any community, whether a small online community, a city, or a country, has differing viewpoints and beliefs. If you have a leader surrounded by people with the same beliefs, then they act only on the assumption that those beliefs are correct and leave those with differing beliefs alienated, causing friction. But too see things from all views while still working for the same goal, helps bring outcomes beneficial for the entire population of the community, even if some don't see it. But in order for those mutually beneficial outcomes to be brought about by any leader, that leader has to realize that they are flawed. There is no way they are all knowing or always the right temperment for the situation. If they realize this they will be open minded to the differing opinions of those they have surrounded themselves with, because if they don't have an open mind, what's the point of hearing the opinion. granted there will always be friction, but it's being mature enough to see past the minor details for what really matters that counts. Most people in the world don't seem to understand that. They may say they know it, but they don't understand. That is where this community seems to suffer aswell. Everyone bitches and moans because of small things because they don't like this person or that person. They all just want people to see the situation their way. Hardly anyone here goes in with an open mind. They refuse to let their preconcieved notions and beliefs take the back seat and listen to what someone else has to say. Then they find a way to pick what somone said apart and throw it back at them. Sort of childish. I know i havn't been on these forums in a few months much less in game, but i was browsing to check up on you guys while i finally had some time and thought i'd throw in my 2 cents. My feelings are based on a preponderance of my experience. Yeah Kever is good, Yeah it seems that he makes alot of bullshit shots alot, but often it is because someone is standing in a common area that, even smoked and blinded someone can just know the map enough to shoot in the right place. I dunno, I just cant say its 51% or more that she's hacking, so leave her. As I've said before, Omega in his prime was on par with Kever, and when i play with Jesus [tzahal] I see many shots that i'd call bullshit too. I don't see Kever as going far beyond these examples, and since we didnt ban them, well Kever should be allowed to play hassle free until more evidence comes out proving otherwise. It's not like i'm even halfway decent at this game, so really im digging my own grave here, but just my 2 cents. |

Most of the people that have made the problem reoccur are gone, my main person being Trueagle, who decided to hack on his own and then forfeit his tag. The main problem is gone, and we should have a feeling of security now that that problem is taken care of. Many people really can't accept the fact that they really aren't good and the other person is, so they figure out ways to disown the person to make themselves feel better. Hacking is common in this game these days, and if Kever was hacking I'm sure she'd have came out of the closet already to stop the complaining going on about her. I don't understand why people continue to keep going on and on about how much Kever hacks when there have been many demos recorded pointing to the fact that she does not hack, and yet people still continue to complain about her. Nevertheless, they are the nuisance, and she's not. You have to ask yourself one question: Get rid of the innocent, or get rid of the people that are starting the problem. The only thing about that is that there was a high number of people whining. However, it has pretty much narrowed itself down these days, and it's only a minority that complains anymore. I'm not trying to put myself on a pedestal, but I refuse to put up with false allegations and bitching and whining from anyone about a person that I know is legit, especially such as Kever. I'll admit that my admin of the server has grown tough especially over the past few days, but my patience has left me. This isn't abuse, this is not putting up with anything and letting these people know their place and our refusal to put up with shit. I'm strict with my 3 warning placement, you don't listen, I follow my guidelines. Droid is right about the leadership, but it also has been too leniant. If there's evidence of the person (Kever as my example) then shut the hell up. That's it, plain and simple. Trueagle went against the rules, banned a regular with no evidence, and now look, he decided to hack and he's perma banned from all of our servers. Not only that, he forfeit his tag as well. The point that I'm trying to make if you didn't see it is that admins need to step up. There's boundaries of your control, but you need to let these people know that this place is for fun, not for them to whine about someone that is better then them. After all, isn't this a game? All we have is stat whores that act in a fit of rage if someone that's better then them is on the opposing team raping them. Or you have fucktards like Mike Young that have no respect for admins. That's where we need to step up and not let these assholes control us. After all, isn't this "FT's server"? I refuse to let the server be overthrown because a bunch of whiny immature assholes make the game less fun for others. FT was made for fun and I'll keep it that way, and I expect the other admins to do the same. 18+ Maturity level or equal, let's keep it that way. |
