caveman and i were both just votebanned a few minutes ago. a guy named morbidly obese came in and started tk'ing for a couple rounds so we tried to voteban him. there were only about 6-7 people and we couldn't get enough votes, and of course he tried to voteban caveman back. as a couple minutes passed, a few others teamed up with the tk'er and tried to voteban caveman. a couple new people joined, and since there was so much votebanning spam they too joined in and caveman was votebanned. then a few minutes later i was next. it was really gay, especially since the server dipped to only 4 people then just started to repopulate and this bullshit happened. we didn't antagonize the guy at all, nobody was running their mouth, but they just wanted to be bastards i guess. i assume the votebans aren't too long, but if someone could unban me i'd appreciate it. | ||

possible changes to prevent this from happening in the future? or would that make vote banning a tk'r/hacker virtually impossible...hmm... | ||

Voteban works, even when I am in the server. I don't know why, but I am the only admin where all of my shit doesn't work.. Anyways, next time try and snag an ID too, Zooted. You got have banned that little turd faggot at the same time you made this thread. The votebans are only temporary (30 minutes) and you should be fine in about 20 minutes. I'll be in there secretly enforcing the ban stick. EDIT: I love HLStats. Here's the fucker's ID too: STEAM_0:1:10809598 He had a suspicious score from what I saw on Pstats, and a shitty 8-Dig steam account. Probably more to him than what you guys saw. I think it takes a certain level admin or something. Omni can you shed some light on this? Or can't votekick any FT member, or would that be too much of a pain in the ass to grab everyone's ID? |
