Alex and I got really drunk and did 1-on-1 knife fights in front yard approximately 5 years ago. He told me to sign up to these here forums, but I got drunk and forgot and never did. When I wanted to join an office server, I looked up my history and joined FTC. Right away, I was greeted with the quasi-Mexican growl of "BUN-DEE-TOE!" that would become characteristic. I didn't know why this random guy was calling me out; then he explained that we got drunk one night and hung out for hours in FTC. And good god, it was one of the greatest circumstances of my life. If not for that moment I wouldn't know any of you. All the misguided adventures into CAL-O, Backhall Nades, Surfing, Zombies (Brians) would all be for naught if Alex hadn't remembered me and welcomed me back. At the base of that story is the truth that Alex has an unrivaled dedication and memory when it comes to Fish Tank Classic. I'd call it a lifeblood if that weren't such a douchey term for it. Alex just exhibits every quality that makes a 24/7 Office server so much more than what it is. A carefree structure that makes something so simple so entertaining. The head of a community that has weathered and endured and failed and continued and died and rebirthed. This clan is nothing without Alcosatz. This is nothing beyond a formality. Yes. Yes, I've never really talked to Alex that much. But from the little amount that I have and played CS:S with him, I had a lot of fun amongst his company and thought he was a nice and very fun guy to be around. | ||
