Whose got em and what are your guy's takes on them? I personally have been in love with Tribal tattoos for a while, but only because of their meaning, which is why this is in philosophy. A lot of tribes believed that the body and the soul were identical, and by tattooing your body you also tattooed your soul, permanently. It's also a right of passage to get a tattoo when you become a man (when you turn 18) because it showed whether you could take the pain of it or if you were a pussy so that the tribe could outcast you if you were. my friend got a guardian angel on his back which doesn't look good, but the meaning behind it isn't half bad. What do you guy's think is worth getting if anything and why? I remember Aks had a bunch of tattoos, but that was just because he thugged. |

 Mine. It's my family's crest. Meaning (other than family) -[link]- I plan on getting a lot more, mostly related to music. Maybe a # or b symbol. who knows, haven't thought them out fully yet. Also, looking to get a tree of life up the left side oblique. |

Yeah, I personally have been in love with world of warcraft enchants for a while, but only because of their meaning, which is why this is in philosophy. A lot of guilds believed that the skill and the gear were identical, and by enchanting your gear you also enchanted your weapon, permanently. It's also a right of passage to get a enchantment when you become a core raider (when you turn 80) because it showed whether you could read the strats or if you were a pussy so that the guild could outcast you if you were. my guildmate got a 50+ to Spell Power on his 2h which doesn't look good because he's a warrior, but the meaning behind it isn't half bad. I don't think its worth it really. I think it looks pretty trashy but that is just my opinion. I say you better think about it for a long time because you wouldn't want to regret it. |

I've already gotten mine picked out and have wanted it for two years, it's just that I turned 18 and I've still thought about it because like Careface said, I don't want to regret. so I wanted to see what my buddies thought. I'm still getting a tattoo no matter what, I just don't know if the 5 that I like are going on my body. I might do one for my 21st birthday instead, but I'm not doing one anytime soon. |

mostly tribal, otherwise something family wide that a few of us were going to get. But we decided it's really gay to all get the same tattoo (we all wanted to get a rose on our chest) | ||
